Pursuing the legacy of the sages, following the inheritance of ancient medicine

Our grandmaster died young because he was treated for eye diseases when he was young, and the medicine seriously hurt his spleen and stomach, so even if he became a great doctor later, he could not adjust well.

As a generation of famous doctors, I will definitely try to treat my spleen and stomach, or regulate my body. But even so, it can't reverse the damage to the spleen and stomach, so the damage to the spleen and stomach is really a very troublesome problem.

when we talk about health preservation, the first important thing is to tell everyone to be kind to the spleen and stomach. Spleen and stomach are very special among the five internal organs. They are the mother of the five internal organs, and all organs need qi and blood transported by the spleen and stomach to nourish them.

So Chinese medicine says that as long as this person's spleen and stomach function is good, no matter what disease he has, he can always live.

There are great differences in views between Chinese medicine and western medicine. Many incurable diseases in western medicine can be treated in Chinese medicine, such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia and diabetes, as well as chronic liver diseases and even tumors. Chinese medicine has cured cases.

Let me tell you a short story. More than 1 years ago, including Mr. Lu Xun, Mr. Hu Shi and Wang Jingwei of the puppet government, we were very familiar with them. They were all representatives who opposed Chinese medicine.

But in 192, Hu Shi got diabetes, which caused a very serious complication-nephritis. As a leader of the New Culture Movement, he was exposed to top western medicine, but he still couldn't be cured.

Hu Shi wrote the words "doomed" in his diary, almost waiting for death. At this time, his friend introduced him to a famous doctor of traditional Chinese medicine at that time-Lu Zhongan. Hu Shi recovered after taking his medicine for three months.

Until Hu Shi died of a heart attack in 1962, his diabetes and nephritis never happened again.

Diabetes has reached the level of nephritis, which can be said to be very serious, but in the end, it was cured by Chinese medicine experts. In fact, there are chronic diseases like hypertension and rheumatism, and there are many examples of being cured by Chinese medicine.

So there is no incurable disease in TCM? Of course, for example, the young man in Huang Yuanyu's hometown who was trying to test Huang Yuanyu's medical skills was prone on the ground, causing his own death, including Huang Yuanyu's own spleen and stomach damage, and he never recovered completely all his life.

so what is the experience left by Huang Yuanyu?

when the root of a disease lies in the spleen and stomach, and the spleen and stomach are damaged to a certain extent, the disease cannot be cured. No matter how light or heavy it seems, it can't be cured. Then the importance of spleen and stomach can be summarized in two sentences.

People are iron rice or steel. No matter who they are, they have to eat. The spleen and stomach transport the nutrients in the rice into qi and blood. People with poor spleen and stomach have poor transport ability. One catty of nutrition is enough for others, but two catties is not enough for you. This is definitely unhealthy.

Under normal circumstances, we need to go to the hospital for infusion surgery in addition to acute diseases, so chronic diseases are more dependent on taking medicine. Whether we eat nutrients in diet or traditional Chinese medicine or western medicine, we have to eat them and use the spleen and stomach to transport them to the whole body to achieve the purpose of treating diseases.

So, you see, when a qualified old Chinese doctor prescribes medicine, there are always medicines for regulating the spleen and stomach such as yam, poria cocos or ginseng in the prescription. We have spent a long time introducing the importance of spleen and stomach to you before, because it is very special.

Huang Yuanyu used to take medicine to treat eye diseases when he was young, which was a basic condition for his illness and final death. However, since he began to study medicine, he has been taking good care of his spleen and stomach, so he has been living in peace without aggravating the situation. However, what caused it to break out, causing irreversible damage and eventually dying?

Because of this incident, Huang Yuanyu was very frightened. He was terrified out of his wits, and then he got sick. This disease never recovered. Traditional Chinese medicine has always attached importance to the influence of emotion on the body, so what is emotion? To put it bluntly, it is people's various emotions.

among these seven emotions, worry and sadness are close, and they can be combined into one, and fear and shock are also close, or they can be combined, so there are only five kinds, and the seven emotions become five aspirations.

There is a word called overuse of seven emotions, that is to say, when the changes of seven emotions and five emotions are too drastic, it will cause damage to the organs, and the five emotions correspond to the five internal organs.

When we were at school, there was a text called "Fan Jin Zhongju". It was written that Fan Jin, who was in his fifties, was so happy that he was so happy that he was crazy. At this time, his butcher's father-in-law gave Fan Jin a big mouth that he woke up. So, a slap in the face can cure a disease?

primordial qi comes out of the spleen and stomach, first to the liver, then to the heart, then from the heart to the lungs, and finally to the kidneys, that is to say, primordial qi itself goes from the spleen and stomach to the liver, to the heart to the lungs and then to the kidneys.

As a result, after Fan Jin was suddenly subjected to severe mood swings, the vitality in his lungs did not drop, but rushed upward, thus blocking the heart pulse, which is called phlegm fascination in Chinese medicine.

Fan Jin, who was crazy, was slapped by his father-in-law, who was usually afraid, before he regained consciousness and came to his senses.

Then let's look at it again. Why can emotions affect organs? It is because emotion can affect the movement of qi and affect qi, which is equivalent to affecting the five internal organs.

When people are angry, their faces turn red and their eyes are bloodshot. We have an idiom called "Angry hair rushes to the crown". How did it come from?

at the end of the Qin dynasty, two rebel armies, represented by Xiang Yu and Liu bang, rebelled against the brutal rule of the Qin dynasty. In the later period, Xiang Yu felt Liu Bang's threat to him and set up a famous "Hongmen Banquet" in history to invite Liu Bang to dinner.

in the middle of the banquet, Xiang Zhuang almost got into a fight in the name of sword dancing, and Fan Kuai, Liu Bang's general, rushed in very angrily.

This is that anger goes up. In the five internal organs, the liver is in charge of rising vitality, but the vitality moves slowly and steadily in the body at a constant speed, just like water vapor in nature, which needs a little evaporation to nourish everything. If the water vapor rushes up with great power, it will not only fail to nourish everything, but also turn into a tornado to cause damage.

Then another example is sad lungs. Lin Daiyu in A Dream of Red Mansions is a typical representative. She is sad all day and depressed. As a result, her sadness will dissipate, and her vitality will dissipate. What can she use to make her body run? In the end, it came to an end.

among the five internal organs, the lung consumes the most vitality. The lung controls the cold and promotes the stomach qi. The stomach and lung are responsible for spreading some vitality to the surface of the body to resist the invasion of pathogenic wind, cold and dampness. In case there is an unobstructed invasion of the human body, the lung is also responsible for killing them all.

However, if long-term sadness causes the vitality to dissipate, the burden on the lungs will increase, so worry and sadness will hurt the lungs. Look at Lin Daiyu, and finally she will die of severe lung disease and cough up blood.

Daiyu felt sorry for herself when she was fine

In this way, everyone should have a preliminary understanding of how emotions affect the five internal organs. Looking back at Huang Yuanyu, he was ill because of fear. Traditional Chinese medicine says that fear leads to anger, and when you are frightened, your vitality runs down and doesn't rise any more, which hurts kidney yang.

When vitality fails to rise, people's face turns pale and bloodless. This is because qi and blood can't go up, which is only the primary symptom. If it's more serious, their heart will beat faster. Why? When there is not enough qi and blood in the whole body, the body will order the heart to jump a few times to meet the needs of blood supply and oxygen supply.

Besides, I can't sleep well after being scared, because my mind is damaged. A more serious shock will frighten you to shit on the spot, because the kidney will defecate, and when the kidney qi is insufficient, the urine will be out of control.

Mr. Guo once met a similar example. In the late 199s, a child became dumb because of a cold and fever. The medical conditions were not so good that they were delayed.

After he became mute, the boy's father took him everywhere for medical advice, but he tried his best but it didn't get better. Until I came to the hospital where Teacher Guo used to work, I met Teacher Guo.

This method sounds really bad for children. Five-year-old children are very scared when they hear that they don't want him, and his father is also very fierce. It's useless to cry no matter how much he wants. As a result, they really leave him and turn around.

The child watched his father go further and further, and in desperation he actually called out his father. The father and son cried on the wall, and the child's mute was cured.

The main reason for Huang Yuanyu's untimely death is that the most important spleen, stomach and kidney were damaged, so even though his medical skill was high, he was unable to return to heaven. Some minor problems that western medicine thinks are formidable to Chinese medicine.

In our daily life, we must pay attention to any symptoms. If we don't deal with them in time, it will be too late for further treatment. Why do we need to talk about Chinese medicine in vernacular? It is because some situations that people will neglect in daily life will be mentioned in vernacular Chinese medicine, so we can learn how to protect our health by sticking to watching vernacular Chinese medicine.
