Lust, Caution is not a real historical event.
The film is adapted from the writer Zhang Ailing's short story of the same name. It is set in Shanghai during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period in the 194s. It tells the story that Wang Jiazhi, a female college student, used her beauty to get close to the traitor mr. yi and tried to assassinate her. When Jiazhi successfully seduced mr. yi and prepared to do it, she found that she had moved her heart, so she tipped off mr. yi and let him off, but mr. yi decided to kill them all. During the occupation of Shanghai, four wives played mahjong with bright lights on in broad daylight, and diamond rings shone brightly when shuffling cards.
The husband of the hostess, Mrs. Yi (Chen Chong), is the head of Wang puppet intelligence agency. Among the three female guests, two husbands also work in Wang Pseudo.
Wang Jiazhi (Tang Wei), the youngest "Mrs. Mai", is nominally the dry daughter of Mrs. Yi, but she doesn't wear a diamond ring, but her thin lips are so bright that she is about to drip. Zhang Xiuli's hexagonal face can withstand the relentless head irradiation, and the cool light and shadow show her "chest gully". She and Mrs. Yi met in Hong Kong two years ago. After the fall of Hong Kong, Mr. Mai's business stopped, and Wang Jiazhi came to Shanghai to work alone, but Mrs. Yi stayed at her house.
Mr. Yi (Tony Leung Chiu Wai), who is short, stands behind his wife and looks at the cards, taking advantage of a loophole to send a signal to Jiazhi. Jiazhi said that she had something to do and said goodbye to everyone.
She went out by Yi Jia's car, told the driver to drive to a cafe and sent the driver back. Then she went into the cafe to make a phone call, and after she came out, she hired a tricycle to stop at Commander Kay's cafe and went in to wait for someone.
She is waiting for mr. yi. Jia Zhiben is a student of Lingnan University.
Before the fall of Guangzhou, Lingda moved to Hong Kong. After Wang Jingwei and his party arrived in Hong Kong, she and several male and female students, with the feelings of exiled students, aspired to serve the country, so they spontaneously organized themselves to be amateur agents and set a honey trap: a girl approached Mrs. Yi, and then seduced mr. yi, a red man around Wang Jingwei, and tried to lure him out and get rid of him.
Hua Dan Wang Jiazhi, the head of the school troupe, is the natural bait. Unfortunately, the fish didn't swallow the hook, and the plan didn't succeed.
after the pearl harbor incident, the sea was reopened, and this group of students transferred to Shanghai and got on the line with a * * * agent. The agent strongly encouraged them to continue, so Wang Jiazhi and Lao Yi forged a relationship again.
Today, a trap was set to assassinate mr. yi at the appointed place. Jiazhi waited for a long time before she saw a charcoal car coming.
it's his car at a glance. She went out and got in the car.
mr. yi asked the driver to drive to John Calvin Ferguson Road for a tryst. Jiazhi said that there was a shop nearby, and she wanted to repair an earring while she could. Mr. yi nature can't play along.
The car then turned back and crossed the street from Yili Biscuit Store to Ping 'an Theater. Across the street is the Commander Kay Cafe.
After entering the jewelry store and talking about repairing earrings, mr. yi offered to keep his promise and buy a diamond ring for Jiazhi as a souvenir. The Indian boss received them at the back of the shop in an attic between two floors, and picked out a six-carat pink diamond ring for Jiazhi to try on.
"The bald head is extremely full, shining, like an alien star, and red is mysterious". Jiazhi knows that the assassin has been ambushed.
At the moment of "tension stretching to eternity", she asked herself if she was a little in love with Lao Yi. Seeing an air of tenderness and pity on his face, she suddenly thought, "This man really loves me."
however, it is too late. She whispered, "Let's go".
he immediately understood, jumped down the stairs and made a dash for the door. The car squeaked.
bang! Door sound or gunshot? The car has left. When mr. yi came back, he ordered a blockade and shot all the people he caught, including Wang Jiazhi.
He stood behind his wife and looked at the cards, thinking about Wang Jiazhi. "He felt that her shadow would always lean on him and comfort him.
although she hated him, her feelings for him were so strong that it didn't matter what feelings were, only feelings. They are the primitive relationship between hunters and prey, the relationship between tigers and monks, and the ultimate possession.
She is his only life, and death is his ghost. " . 2. The creative background of Lust, Caution
The publication process
According to Cai Dengshan's materials, it took Zhang Ailing 25 years to write Lust, Caution. On April 11th, 1978, Zhang Ailing's novel Lust, Caution was published in the human supplement of * * *. Later, Zhang Ailing said in the preface to the sequel published by Crown in 1988 that Lust, Caution was conceived in 1953. In 1983, the crown edition of The Lost Story was published, and Zhang Ailing talked about Lust, Caution, Meeting Huan and Floating Flowers and Waves in the preface: "These three short stories have shaken me, so I am willing to rewrite them for so many years, even thinking only of the surprise of getting the materials at first and the process of rewriting, and I don't think that thirty years have passed."
Therefore, Lust, Caution was conceived in 1953 and published in 1978, during which it went through 25 years of cold and heat. And Zhang Ailing mentioned "the surprise of getting the material at first", which means that the novel does have a prototype.
background story
Zhang ailing also wrote a pen battle for Lust, Caution? Cai Dengshan told readers that it happened nearly half a year after the novel was published. On October 1st, 1978, the writer Zhang Xiguo published "How can you get chili pepper if you don't eat spicy food?" in the human supplement of * * * under the pseudonym of an outsider. -Comment on Lust, Caution. At the end of the article, I said: "If a writer deliberately does something unconventional and deliberately explores immoral subjects, he may ruin himself. At least in my opinion, literature praising traitors-even if it is very ambiguous-is absolutely not worth writing. Because of her past life background, Ms. Zhang Ailing should be especially careful when dealing with such subjects, so as not to cause misunderstanding, so as not to become a flaw in her reputation. " Zhang Ailing, who has always ignored criticism, in the face of such severe criticism, finally published the article "The wool is on the sheep-talking about" Color and Caution "in the human supplement of * * * on November 27th, giving a strong rebuttal.
This is one of the only two pen battles that Zhang Ailing participated in in her life. The theory of "traitor" is really unbearable in Zhang Ailing's life. Cai Dengshan believes that Zhang Ailing was reluctant to publish Lust, Caution because she was accused of being a "female traitor" by public opinion because of emotional problems, which made her extremely sensitive to the accusation of "traitor". "The sensitive theme of Lust, Caution is easy to become a sensitive topic at a sensitive moment, so she changed the novel again and again, delaying it again." 3. Creation background of Lust, Caution

Zheng Pingru (Wang Jiazhi prototype) (1918-194), a famous woman in the Republic of China, was a mixed-race Chinese and Japanese revolutionary hero. My father is Zheng Yue (also known as Zheng Yingbo), a veteran who followed Sun Yat-sen in running for the revolution, and my mother is Hanako Kimura, a famous Japanese family who met Zheng Yue after studying in Japan (she was renamed Zheng Huajun after returning to China with her husband). In those days, Zheng Pingru was regarded as * * * by Liangyou Pictorial, the largest pictorial in Shanghai. After the fall of Shanghai, she secretly joined the Central China and used her unique conditions to get information among Japanese and puppet personnel. Later, she participated in the assassination of Ding Mocun (prototype of mr. yi), the head of the Japanese and Puppet spy, and was arrested for revealing her identity, but she insisted that she was trapped by love and hired a murderer, which became one of the major gossip stories in Shanghai that year. In February 194, she was secretly executed in a wasteland beside Zhongshan Road in West Shanghai, and was shot three times at the age of 23.
Ding Mocun is the main person in charge of the Chinese secret service "No.76" set up by the Japanese, which belongs to Wang Puppet * * *, but is directly controlled by the Japanese. Ding Mocun was a member of our Party in his early years. Later, he rebelled and joined the Central China Unification. Finally, he surrendered to the Japanese under the trend of interests, set up the "No.76" and killed a large number of Japanese agents and other patriotic anti-Japanese people. As the king of China agents, Dai Li made up his mind to eradicate this person. Zheng Pingru was sent to Ding Mocun under such conditions. But in the end, the assassination was unsuccessful and he was finally killed. As for why it was exposed, there are still different opinions.
Assassination process (Baidu Encyclopedia):
"On December 21, 1939, Ding Mo Village had lunch at a friend's house in Huxi. He called Zheng Pingru to attend, and Zheng rushed to Huxi to accompany Ding Mo Village until the evening. Ding said he would go to Hongkou, and Zheng said he would go to Nanjing Road, so the two of them drove together. When the car drove to the Siberian fur shop on Jing 'an Road and Gordon Road (now Jiangning Road), Zheng Pingru suddenly offered to buy a fur coat, and dragged Ding Mocun out of the car with her to help her choose. Ding Mo village's professional reaction is to go to a place that is not agreed in advance and stay for less than half an hour. It is reasonable to say that there will be no danger. I thought Zheng's insistence that he go with me was nothing more than trying to take the opportunity to rip him off. So he got off the bus with her, but when Zheng was choosing a leather coat, Ding Mocun suddenly found that there were two people who were dressed in short clothes and looked at him suspiciously outside the glass window. When Ding saw that something was wrong, he took out a stack of banknotes from Ding Mocun's pocket, slapped them on the glass counter and said, "Choose for yourself. I'll go first." With that, he turned around and ran out. Zheng saw Ding Mo village suddenly running outward. At first, he was stunned and wanted to track it out, but he took two steps and stopped again.
At this time, the special agent of the Central Committee, who was wandering on the sidewalk outside the store, didn't expect Ding Mocun to rush out of the store without waiting for something to be selected, so he hesitated a little and let him cross the road. When Ding's driver saw him rush out, he had already started the engine and opened the door. By the time the gun rang, he had got into the car and pulled the door. The bullet hit the bulletproof door, and he walked away unscathed.
Although Ding Mocun was not assassinated, he became a frightened bird. More importantly, he was framed by his deputy, Li Shiqun, which made the Japanese lose their trust in Ding Mocun and led to his position being gradually replaced by Li Shiqun.
After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Ding Mocun was sentenced to death.
Zhang Ailing, a famous writer, wrote Lust, Caution based on this history, and analyzed the emotional entanglement behind the story from another perspective.
based on the novel, director Ang Lee further created the film Lust, Caution and won the best film at the Venice Film Festival. 5. Tang Wei's growing history

Before that, she was just an ordinary vocational high school student majoring in fine arts in Hangzhou. The reporter visited the traces of Tang Wei's study and life in Hangzhou, and imagined the rainy season she spent in this wonderful paradise on earth under the description of her former agent, alma mater teacher and old neighbor.
Tang Wei's old neighbor, Fu Ayi, said that Tang Wei was very polite when he was a child. He called everyone "Auntie" and "Grandma" enthusiastically, and his personality was very extroverted. Tang Wei's high school art teacher used two "very". "Tang Wei is very polite. Unfortunately, Hong Xiao, the head teacher in Tang Wei, went to a meeting in other places. Her colleague, Miss Zhong, received the reporter.
