Blessings come in pairs, and misfortunes never come alone.
What is lost is gained in the east.
3. When Heaven is about to entrust this person with a great responsibility, he must first suffer from hardship on his mind, strain his muscles and bones, and starve his body and skin.
4. There are too many. When the ancients looked at things, their heels stood higher than those of today's people, and their wisdom was much deeper than that of today's people.
5. God is greater than the Tao, and blessings are greater than the absence of disasters.
6. Blessings come from few things, and disasters come from having too many thoughts. Only those who do many things will know that few things are a blessing; only those with a calm mind will know that many thoughts are a disaster.
7. No disaster is greater than greed, and no blessing is greater than contentment.
8. Harming others is a disaster, but others are a blessing.
9. Misfortune brings evil, good fortune comes from caution.
10. People like good things. Although good fortune has not yet come, misfortunes are far away.
There will be unexpected events on the 11th day, and people will have misfortune and good fortune. A blessing in disguise is a blessing in disguise.
12. Misfortunes lie on the back of blessings, and blessings lie on the backs of misfortunes.
13. Blessings in disguise arise, and extreme joy brings sorrow.
14. All good things come hard.
