Origin

I moved around a lot when I was a child, but I can still clearly remember where I lived at that time. From early childhood until the second semester of the third grade of junior high school, I lived with my grandmother in Ikata-cho, Nishiuwa-gun, Ehime Prefecture. Therefore, when he appeared in the "Osaka Loop Line", he showed his rich knowledge of Ehime.

Influenced by "Tiko Nanami", I determined to become a voice actor since the fifth grade of elementary school. When I graduated from junior high school, I told my parents that I "hoped to enter a voice actor training school." Later, under the advice of his parents, he graduated from high school and moved to Tokyo alone from Kyushu when he was 18. Without the support of his parents, he lived a life of depression every day while working as an office assistant in medical affairs and attending classes at a voice actor training school. . I said that I really wanted to be a voice actor at that time.

Passed the exam at the Japan Narration and Acting Institute. In October 2000, it was used by the radio program ‘VOICE CREW’.

In 2001, he voiced the role of Passerby B in パラッパラッパー, and made his official debut in the animation industry in 2002 as Nana in Seven: Nana. In the same year, she began to act as the protagonist Nan Kaede in "Magical Mirumi Road". This long-term series of works that lasted for 3 and a half years became Mai Nakahara's early masterpiece. Later, he played the leading role in animation works such as "Dance-HiME" in 2004, "When the Higurashi Cries" in 2006, and "CLANNAD" in 2007.

In 2002, she formed the group "nanaxnana" with the voice actors Mizuki Nana, Akita Akita, Asagi Mai, Nazuka Kaori, Fukui Yukari and Momomori, who had participated in Seven Nana, and sang the theme song of this work. With himself as the leader, he formed a group called "みっくすJUICE" with Kana Ueda, Chiwa Saito, and Rico Morinaga. Since 2004, he has formed "PoppinS" and "Mai Nakahara & Ai Shimizu" with Ai Shimizu.
