The next sentence is: Are you limiting yourself in the corner?
"A man travels to Bihai in the morning and Cangwu in the evening" means:
I was still playing in Bihai in the morning, and then instantly returned to stay in Cangwu in the evening. The implication is that we should travel around and expand our knowledge, rather than lingering in a place the size of our hometown and living under the roof.
This sentence was said by Xu Xiake. The original sentence is "A man swims in the blue sea in the morning and the sky is green at dusk." It was Xu Xiake's ambition in his early years.
