When did Cyrus II start the war?
After Cyrus II established a powerful army, he launched an uprising of Persian tribes against the rule of the Medes in 553 BC. From 550 BC to 549 BC, he conquered Medea and later conquered the kingdom of rest. From 546 BC to 530 BC, under the command of Cyrus II, Persian troops conquered Asia Minor, Babylon and three Central Asian countries-Bactria, Sogdia and Huameizi.
