The creative characteristics of George Nelson
Perhaps the most innovative of Nelson's furniture design is his research on modular storage furniture series and modular office furniture, both of which have influenced the world. Nelson's chairs and sofas are also very creative. For example, the "coconut chair" designed by 1955, as its name implies, is a part of coconut shell. Although this chair looks light, its weight is not light, because the coconut shell is made of metal. Another famous furniture design of Nelson is "Sunflower Sofa" in 1956. This kind of sand is the effect that the hair body is broken down into small circles here. Its bold use of color and clear collection form indicate the arrival of pop art in the past 60 years. Nelson's love for modulus also extends to his sofa design. His simple modeling and creative combination have dominated the furniture market for many years. In 1960s, Nelson's home chairs and bar chairs attracted wide attention.
