Far from the heavenly way, the holy way is difficult; far from the holy way, the human way is difficult.

In other words, other obstacles are easy to remove, but mental obstacles are difficult to remove. If a person has no self-confidence, how can others make him confident? Those without self-confidence need to understand the Tao and cultivate their minds; those who are conceited also need to understand the Tao and cultivate their minds. The mountain is not high, it is immortal; the water is not deep, it is dragon; it is not too much reading, it is essence, it is understanding, so you can cultivate the way.
37. If a person wants to grasp his own destiny, he must "judge the time and situation". The so-called time of the world refers to the movement trend of the general trend of the world; the so-called trend of the world refers to the various forces that promote the general trend of the world. Seizing the current situation is to ride the tide. The current situation in the world is complicated and confusing, unpredictable, and ever-changing. The sage knows the time and the situation, so he governs the world; the traitor goes against the trend and creates chaos, so the world is in chaos.
38. In this world, there are only two kinds of people with no delusions of mind, one is the dead, and the other is the god. You are neither of them. If you have this delusion, why should you control it?
39. Any knowledge is divided into techniques. As far as military science is concerned, the art of using military force lies in victory, and the way of using military force lies in reconciling disputes. Therefore, those who are good at using troops are not warlike. The way to use troops is to subjugate the enemy without fighting, to turn the conflict into jade and silk, and to use four ounces to move the enemy.
40. To be afraid of something by rubbing it, to move it when it is high, to prove it when it is small, to respond to it, to crowd it and block it, to confuse it when it is chaotic, is called strategy.
41. In ancient times, those who were good at turning their backs were those who cooperated with the four seas and included the princes, disobeyed the heaven and earth, transformed them, and then used them to seek unity.
42. Where there is convergence and multiple reversals, there is a suitable plan. The transformation of the circle belongs to each other, each with its own situation. Ask each other again and again, because of things. Therefore, saints live between heaven and earth, stand up to govern the world, teach and make a name for themselves. They must predict and transform things based on the meeting of things.
43. Those who made good use of the world in ancient times must measure the power of the world and consider the feelings of the princes. Measuring power without examining it is a lot of things to say about strength and weakness; judging emotions without examining them is not knowing how to hide changes.

50. When used for people, it is empty but true, and the words are not missing.
51. As far as swordsmanship is concerned, there are only three swords in the world. The Holy Sword is also known as the Sword of Heaven. It uses Dao as its back, virtue as its front, yin and yang as its qi, and the five elements as its handle. It can cut off the light of heaven at the top and protect the earth from the bottom. The virtuous sword is also called the sword of the emperor. It has all the people as its back and virtuous ministers as its front. It conforms to the way of heaven above, follows the geography below, and neutralizes the will of the people. The vulgar sword is also called the human sword. It uses fine steel as the edge, alloy as the back, and coldness as the energy. It can behead the head at the top, chop the feet with the bottom, and break the internal organs with the middle.
52. Therefore, the wise does not use his shortcomings, but uses the fool's strengths; he does not use his weaknesses, but uses the fool's skills, so he is not trapped.
53. When old objects are classified, hold firewood toward the fire, and the dry ones will burn first; pour water on the flat ground, and the wet ones will soak first.
54. To use yang to seek yin is to use virtue; to use yin to combine yang and exert force.
55. The ancients said: "The mouth can be eaten, but cannot be spoken." There are taboos for those who speak. Everyone's mouths are shining with gold, and their words have a tune.

If you want to rule the world, you must first rule people's hearts; if you want to rule people's hearts, you must first rule chaos. Curing chaos is just a means, curing the heart is the right way. If we only control chaos for the sake of controlling chaos, and only use force to unify the world, even if we succeed, the world will not only be unruly, but will only become more chaotic.
