Introduction: Happiness in life is the ultimate proposition of individual life, such as Qu Yuan, Tao Yuanming, Li Bai, Su Shi and Lu Xun. Throughout the ages, I have deep thoughts and feelings about it. Then, as an engineer of the human soul-teacher, what happiness is there? When we are teachers, we often hear complaints. The teacher is really too hard! Even a little happiness is short-lived and will soon be overwhelmed by hard work and busyness. I am desperate today, but I still want to understand the topic of happiness in life from the perspective of a teacher. Because if our life pursuit only stays at the level of being sympathized and understood, it will be a bit sad. It is necessary for us to actively seek our own happiness from this ordinary and great career.
I think learning China's traditional cultural classics can help us realize a happy life and feel the value of life. The following are some of my gains and feelings from leading students to read classics for many years.
1. Knowing is not as good as being good, and being good is not as good as being happy.
Really close to the traditional cultural classics, or transferred to Guyuan No.2 Middle School in 2000. At that time, the school asked me to be a Chinese teacher in the experimental class. There is such a tradition in Chinese teaching in the experimental class, which increases the weight of ancient poetry. At that time, Mr. Wang Guozhong asked students to recite The Analects, which was very enlightening, so I also selected some Analects for students. But the understanding at that time was still superficial. Fortunately, I also recited a lot of content in the process of recommending to students. Later, I felt that the accumulated things were gradually improved, which brought me inexplicable excitement and shock.
There are several small things worth mentioning: 1, guiding students to read classic works. Class 9 of Grade 8 and Class 10 are experimental classes. I teach Chinese in Grade 6 in these two classes (that is, preparatory classes in Hong Wen Middle School). At that time, because students were influenced by campus novels and online novels, they didn't have much time, energy and interest in classics, so they had an idea: to lead students into classics. According to the contents of the classic unit of the textbook, I chose Romance of the Three Kingdoms, spent nearly three weeks guiding students to read, and completed a reading report activity with the theme of "I read the Three Kingdoms". This activity takes various forms: recitation and singing, such as "Rolling the Yangtze River East" and "An Example"; There are storytellers, such as "Three British Wars against Lu Bu"; Some have written and acted in textbook dramas, such as Three Knots in Taoyuan, Borrowing Arrows from Grass Boat, and Zhuge Liang Tearing Ma Su. There are remarks such as "I look at Cao Cao" and "I look at Liu Bei"; There is Allegro "Comment on Three Kingdoms". Later, it coincided with the school's 100-day reading festival, so I put this program on, but the effect was very good, and it was especially well received by the judges and teachers. Teacher Zhang Xiufang, the head of the teaching and research group in China, also called on junior high school students to learn from preppie students. Then, I want to lead the students to read A Dream of Red Mansions, so I reread it myself. The process is intoxicated, not only by the swaying artistic beauty, but also by the profound ideological beauty. Later, I instructed students to read (for those who are interested, not for large areas), and several students read very well. The process of guiding students to read classical masterpieces and rereading A Dream of Red Mansions has made me yearn for traditional culture, and I can also say that I am interested in it, from knowledge to goodness.
2. Selection of school-based teaching materials. When I was in the reading class with the experimental class of Grade 4 and Grade 5, I once asked the headmaster for teaching materials, and suggested using the supporting teaching materials of "China Classical Poetry Reading Project" launched by China Youth Development Foundation. The headmaster said that teachers should have the idea of compiling their own textbooks. I didn't get the textbook, but I have extra tasks, so I have to collect some materials during the teaching process. In 2005, with the enrollment of primary schools, it is urgent to compile school reading materials. I actively participate in the work initiated and presided over by the school. In this process, I also forced myself to read widely, including the Analects of Confucius, Tao Te Ching and other classic works. Although busy and hard, I feel happy. I am moved by the unique beauty of China traditional culture from time to time, and I am often intoxicated with the beauty of reading fluently and the taste of it.
3. Read Doggi. By chance, I found a book "Reading Notes of the Analects of Confucius" on the Internet, which was written by a man named Li Hang. I wonder if I didn't see it. It looks really shocking at first sight. At the beginning of the article, the understanding of the chapter "Learning and ……" is really refreshing. He said: In primary school, the teacher interpreted it as: Isn't it fun to study and review often? I don't know if you are happy or not, but I am not. Every time I review for review, it always makes me doze off. However, after reading the Analects of Confucius several times, you will find that Confucius is explaining various truths in life and society in the simplest language, such as "Don't do to others what you don't want others to do to you" and "When the cold comes and the summer goes, the pine and cypress will wither". Why are these experiences so similar to ours? And "learning while learning" is so different? It turns out that our understanding of saints is wrong. Li Hang thinks that the best way to understand The Analects is to study it. Wang Caigui, a professor in Taiwan Province, put forward the slogan "The Analects of Confucius is 100", and he also thought that "interpreting the Analects through classics" was the best way to understand the Analects. According to the meaning of the word "time" appearing in other places in The Analects of Confucius, Li Hang. Inferring that "time" is "season, opportunity!" In this way, the explanation of this sentence becomes: "Isn't it very happy to use what you have learned at the right time?" Li Hang said, "When I first realized this, the degree of shock could not be expressed in words." In fact, when I read this, my shock is beyond words. Following Li Hang's reading notes, I found his Dao Ji again. The word "Tao Ji" comes from the fourteenth chapter of Laozi, "Keep the past and keep the present. Knowing the past is called Tao yourself. " We can understand the origin of the universe by observing and understanding today's existence with the ancient Tao. This way is called "Dao Ji". Li Hang interpreted "Dao Ji" as a cognitive method. He is a physicist. In this paper, he proposed a new cosmology-absolute light speed cosmology. In absolute light speed cosmology, "the universe is no longer infinite! Time is no longer absolute! Physics is dead! " In Ji Tao, the similarities between Laozi's Tao Te Ching and Hawking's A Brief History of Time were compared and explained. The author thinks that the relevant content in Laozi is simply the classical Chinese version of A Brief History of Time. These contents are very convincing and interesting to me. The author also interprets Ji Tao's The Analects of Confucius and thinks that The Analects conforms to the cosmology of absolute light speed.
The Analects of Confucius always contains the most valuable knowledge in the simplest language package. A casual excerpt can explain the problem: "Today's filial piety is called nurturing. As for dogs and horses, you can keep them. It's disrespectful. Why not? " Respect for parents is the key. "People without faith don't know what they can do." People can't stand without faith. "In a threesome, there must be a teacher, choose the good and follow it, and change it." What a warm persuasion it is to learn from others' strengths and make up for your own shortcomings. Reading of the analects of confucius, learn to be a man and enjoy it.
Yu Dan, a professor at Beijing Normal University, learned from The Analects of Confucius: I think The Analects of Confucius is a very simple book. Starting from human relations, it teaches everyone to get spiritual happiness in modern life, get familiar with the order of modern daily life and find personal coordinates. That's the quote.
Many scholars have a common understanding when interpreting Laozi and Confucius: they think that both Laozi's thoughts and Confucius' thoughts are for the pursuit of human security and happiness. Based on self-cultivation, grasping the opportunity of practice, governing the country and leveling the world is only a stage for practice, not an end. When the awakened person knows the world and himself, he will not worry about the infinity that does not exist, nor will he worship the supernatural power that does not exist. People who are with heaven and earth, like the sun, moon and stars, will find their own stage and release their due light. After all, the long road of life has given us so many opportunities and such a broad stage. As Confucius said, "You forget to eat when you are angry, but forget to worry when you are happy, and you don't know how old you are." This life is a happy life of "learning from time to time"; This kind of society is a society where friends come from afar and are not happy.
The reading of Daoji fascinated me with traditional culture, from beauty to pleasure. The understanding of the Analects of Confucius and the Tao Te Ching has also begun to go from shallow to deep. If the above content can reflect my harvest, I think it is "knowing is not as good as being kind, and being kind is not as good as being happy". This feeling also strengthened my belief in leading students to read traditional classics. Just because I don't understand doesn't mean my students don't understand. Teachers have the responsibility to point out good scenery for students. I think the good scenery lies in the traditional classics of China, so I led my students to dabble in many classic contents, and both teachers and students were happy! You can always find classic enlightenment from students' compositions. For example, when students write a composition on the topic of water, they can think of: "My daughter is made of water", "Good as water", "A river that will never return" and "A small bridge running water" ... The students' understanding of the classics cannot but be amazing!
Second, always study, don't you? Is it not delightful to have friends coming from distant quarters? Isn't he a completely moral person? Although people may not pay attention to him, he won't feel uneasy.
I quite agree with some people that these are the three realms of learning. The first realm: when your knowledge is practiced to a certain extent, it will be a heartfelt joy; Secondly, if there is no chance to practice, it is also very happy if there are like-minded friends to talk to; Secondly, your knowledge will not be accepted and understood, but you will persist, won't be angry and won't complain. This is a gentleman's demeanor. So what is learning? Mr nan huaijin said in his Analects that learning means not only possessing knowledge, but also knowing how to behave and do things, and a person without knowledge may be very knowledgeable. Tian Jiabing, a Hong Kong businessman, is a man of great learning. His father died at the age of 65,438+06, so he had to drop out of school to take care of his family. There are many ups and downs in business, but he always succeeds with integrity, persistence and wisdom. Today, Mr. Tian has made great achievements, especially thinking about his home country and taking Lisan as his duty. Based on the Chinese traditional virtues of "taking from society and using it for society" and "it is better to leave money for future generations than to accumulate virtue", 1982 decided to donate more than one billion yuan of property and set up "Tian Jiabing Foundation" to donate to public welfare undertakings. Mr. Tian has wholly-owned enterprises and donations all over the country, and has established good businesses, including education, medical care, sanitation, transportation, entertainment and social welfare, as well as hundreds of units and buildings named after "Tian Jiabing". Mr. Tian's benevolence and dedication, not seeking Wen Da, won the praise of government agencies at all levels at home and abroad and people from all walks of life. 1994 Nanjing Purple Mountain Observatory named the No.2886 asteroid "Tian Jiabing Star". His life can be said to have reached the realm of coexistence with heaven and earth and glory with the sun and the moon. From his success, we can see Mr. Tian's principle of being practical and doing things seriously, as well as his frugal, modest and flashy personality. Isn't this the truth in Laozi's "Nature is as good as water, and water is good for all things without dispute" and "The sage is not great after all, so he can become great"? Mr. Tian himself was influenced by traditional culture since he was a child. At the age of 90, he can learn Zhu Xi's family instructions by heart. Maybe we can't reach the realm of Laozi, Confucius and Tian Jiabing, but the lives of saints and successful people can undoubtedly bring us beneficial enlightenment.
When I put this knowledge into my education and teaching, I have also undergone great changes, less angry and less impatient; Students have also changed, and class management has become simple and effective. As a teacher, I am really pleased to see the students make a little progress and imagine that no matter what career they are engaged in and what level they are in in the future, they will happily practice their lives. If you appreciate it, you will be happy. You won't be embarrassed if you don't know!
The enthusiasm for learning traditional cultural classics has also brought me many opportunities for practice and a lot of happiness. Let me truly realize the luck of being a teacher, and let me understand that human life is not just living, it is so beautiful.
Third, be knowledgeable and determined, and be inquisitive and thoughtful.
China's traditional culture is not only valued in Hong Kong and Taiwan, but also influential internationally. Seventy-five Nobel Prize winners held a joint meeting in Paris from 65438 to 0988, and issued a joint declaration, which stated that if human beings want to survive in the 2 1 century, they must go back more than 2,000 years and learn from the wisdom of Confucius and Old Master Q Q.
It is not terrible for a nation to get into any trouble. What is terrible is that it has lost its national spiritual pillar and spiritual support. 1In March, 1995, Zhao Puchu, Bing Xin, Cao Yu, Qi Gong, Ye Zhishan, Xia Yan, Chen Huangmei, Wu Lengxi, Zhang Zhigong and other nine elderly people issued an "Emergency Appeal on Establishing Classical Schools for Children" at the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference meeting, which attracted the attention of the leaders of the State Education Commission. Since the "Nine Old Calls" from 65438 to 0995, the promotion of traditional culture has gradually formed a trend and set off an upsurge in China. At present, China is in a great era of national rejuvenation, and cultural rejuvenation is inevitable and key. From the orientation of national policies to the establishment of Chinese studies institutions in full swing all over the country, all these reflect the general trend of the revival of Chinese studies. In particular, China is in a new era of rapid economic development. With the frequent international exchanges, what do we represent ourselves in the world? Our excellent national culture can shoulder this heavy responsibility, so it is imperative to carry forward traditional culture.
It is in this excellent form that as a Chinese teacher, I found my own teaching method. After teaching Chinese for so many years, I have been thinking and practicing how to cultivate students' interest in learning Chinese for so many years. Only in this way can it be effective, that is, to tap the educational potential and create educational opportunities from learning the traditional culture of China. We are duty-bound to learn and carry forward traditional culture! The road is at the foot, "knowledgeable and determined, so I am good at asking questions and thinking." Brave practice, the happiness of life lies in this.
