How to be a deputy?
Under the hard organization of Heping District Teachers' Training School, I participated in the training class for vice principals of primary and secondary schools in Heping District. The learning content is rich, and the activities have benefited me a lot. Zhang Xingyan, the vice president of No.55 Middle School, taught teaching management from the front line to the front line. The case was detailed and the operation was concrete, which made me realize that it was like timely rain for me as a layman in teaching. Combining lecture theory with practice, Li Deshan, director of the Moral Education Research Office in Hongqiao District, not only helped me improve the theoretical level of moral education, but also guided me how to do a good job in class collective construction from the action level; President's views on classroom teaching broadened my horizons, and at the same time, I was deeply impressed by Mr. Xu's wonderful speech talent. Professor Mao Yuansheng's lecture at the Party School of the Municipal Party Committee has broadened my horizons as a veteran who has been a deputy for ten years, guided the direction and given the method for being the right-hand man in charge in the future ... Below, I want to mainly talk about Professor Mao Yuansheng's lecture and talk about my thoughts in combination with my own work. After eleven years of work experience, my understanding of deputy work is as follows: First, be a good assistant to the vice president. Once the decision is made, the vice principal should give full play to his subjective initiative and organize the best and effective management activities within his own work scope according to the decision-making intention of the principal (or leading group). 1. As one of the school leaders, the vice principal has to face a lot of complicated and specific administrative affairs every day. He should do his job well in an orderly and effective manner, go deep into the front line of school management, education and teaching, lead the teaching staff to overcome difficulties, study and solve problems, and earnestly implement, guide, supervise and inspect them, so as to make local work develop in harmony with the whole work and form the cohesion and combat effectiveness of the whole school. But the vice principal can only divide the work in detail. In this sense, the vice principal is the manager and organizer of a certain aspect of the school's work, and is by no means the commander. Therefore, firmly establishing the consciousness of "leadership is service" is one of the important conditions for being a good vice principal. 2. Being able to take responsibility Sometimes, when the principal's work intention or the team's work decision is transformed into the overall behavior of the whole school, we are often required to organize activities independently. At this time, the deputy should show a strong sense of professionalism and responsibility, take the initiative to assume the job responsibilities, and never have the negative idea that "the sky falls and everyone is tall." 3. Stand in a good position. From the overall function of the leadership team, the vice principal has a lot of complicated administrative work to assist the principal to complete every day. Locally, it has the characteristics of decision-making and organization, command and guidance, management and coordination, inspection and evaluation. While emphasizing the role of assistant, we should pay attention to finding our own position in the work, not grabbing the role, and being a good supporting role, as Professor Mao said: Being in place is not offside. Second, be a good staff officer and a good deputy. First of all, be a good staff officer. The daily management of education in schools is complicated, but there are many and difficult problems in running schools at present, and the subjective factors affecting the principal's decision-making naturally increase. When the principal makes a decision, the vice principal should stand on the principal's point of view, start from the overall situation of the school's work, think carefully, weigh the pros and cons, and make a good idea for the principal's scientific decision-making, so as not to make a wrong idea and delay the work. 1. Make scientific decisions from the principal's point of view. To be a good staff member, you should not only think from the perspective of your own work, but also from the principal's point of view, help the principal screen and provide correct work information, help the principal make correct decisions, take care of the overall situation, obey the overall situation and safeguard the overall situation. 2. Resolutely implement the decision. The role of the vice principal as a staff officer should be reflected in decision-making and implementation. Resolutely support and consciously safeguard the principal's leadership authority in the school, and strive to make the principal's (or leadership's) decision become a reality and realize the management goal through the unremitting efforts and creative work of all the teaching and administrative staff. Third, learn to cooperate with a director of a school, but generally there will be several deputy directors who are in charge of a certain aspect of the school's work. Principal and vice principal, vice principal and vice principal should form a working relationship with different division of labor, different roles and responsibilities but the same goal. 1. Give full play to subjective initiative. Only by giving full play to their creative work and effectively implementing their respective responsibilities can the overall goal of the whole school be well achieved. This requires not only deepening vertical ties, but also attaching importance to and strengthening horizontal ties. 2. Carry forward the team spirit of sincere cooperation. Leaders, departments and people should communicate and coordinate with each other, and establish a harmonious interpersonal management and working relationship of mutual respect, harmonious coexistence and mutual acceptance. 3. Always maintain the leadership authority of the headmaster and emphasize cooperation, but the leading role of the headmaster cannot be weakened. The deputy should take the initiative to ask for instructions and return in time according to his job responsibilities, especially things that affect the work of the whole school. He should not be smart and make his own decisions. The information in the management process should be fed back to the principal in time, so that the principal can make new judgments and adjustments on the management of the whole school. Only in this way can the principal's core position in school management, command and decision-making be highlighted. In addition, through my personal experience, I feel that while reporting to the principal, I have also established my own prestige. The headmaster keeps everything I report in mind and often mentions these jobs on different occasions. Teachers who are praised or criticized will pay more attention to the position of the vice principal in their minds and get more respect and support in their work. Some deputies do not pay attention to timely reporting, or even block the news, which is unwise and harmful to the world, themselves and schools. Fourth, indifferent to fame and fortune, being a deputy is more of a front-line administration. There are not many opportunities to appear at the front desk, and there are relatively few good things such as choosing priority. As a deputy to the National People's Congress, in the face of honor, I understand it this way: in the face of achievements, we must have a clear understanding. You should know that the achievement can not be achieved without the trust and use of leaders and the efforts of subordinates. Therefore, achievements are not only personal. Think of others, think of leaders, think of subordinates who follow you, and think of teachers. Some people may think, thanks to this, in fact, what you pay is always in direct proportion to what you get. Although you have lost your immediate interests, you have won the respect of the director and teachers, and your work will be more handy; You will gain the trust and reuse of senior leaders, and you may get more exercise opportunities. Another experience, don't be troubled by the dispute of interests, don't always think about what to get. I'm not saying here that the purpose of honor is to get promoted. Personally, I think everyone's intangible evaluation of your character is far higher than any tangible interest. So indifferent to fame and fortune is the most basic quality that a vice president should have. In short, doing a good job as a deputy is a science, and "different from top to bottom, moderate communication, maintaining authority and finding a correct position" is the criterion that every deputy should always abide by.
