(1) Educational
We teachers all know that in the selection of content, we should focus on patriotism education, collectivism education and socialism education in accordance with the educational policies of the party and the country. educate.
When talking about educational content, I think that with the development of the times, some provincial and municipal education administrative departments have put forward specific guidance texts, and we should strengthen the study of guidance texts. For example, in order to implement the spirit of the central government's No. 8 document, Shanghai has put forward two outlines: one is the "Guidance Outline for the National Spiritual Education of Students in Shanghai"; the other is the "Guidance Outline for Life Education for Primary and Secondary School Students in Shanghai". In the "Shanghai Student National Spiritual Education Guidance Outline", the relevant content is specifically broken down into three parts: "National consciousness, cultural identity, and citizen personality." In the "Shanghai Primary and Secondary School Students Life Education Guidance Outline", in general The idea is "understand life, cherish life, respect life and love life". We should study and think about these topics.
(2) Pertinence
To design class activities well, we must pay attention to its pertinence. As a "basic course", it is mainly developed according to the grade characteristics and physical and mental characteristics of students. A new term appears here - "basic course". When we hold class activities and educate students, we should have our own basic position, which is the class meeting; the class meeting should have its own basic content, which will form a basic class. In our class schedule, there should be 20 class meetings in one semester, and basic classes are a kind of standardized education that should be carried out, which can account for 17 classes.
When carrying out activities with grade characteristics in different grades, I think we should pay attention to the following three points: first, focus on the regular education of the grade; second, focus on the focus of grade education; third, combine grade actual. For example, in the first grade of junior high school, students often need to be educated on school history, school ethos, school disciplines, and school rules, as well as on daily behavioral norms. For example, in the second grade of junior high school, one of the focus of education should be adolescent education. In the third grade of junior high school, students are already facing graduation, so the activities carried out should not be large-scale and should be more closely related to students' learning. Another feature of targeted class activities is to pay attention to the physical and mental characteristics of students. We must first study the psychological characteristics of students. Middle school students have two very significant characteristics: one is positive and competitive; the other is a gradually weakening attachment psychology and a growing autonomy. According to such characteristics, more competitions should be held among the activities. I like to hold some competitions because through competitions, students' positive and competitive psychological needs are satisfied. At the same time, for many activities, we must fully respect students' opinions, let students be the hosts, let students think, and cultivate and exercise students' abilities in all aspects. In addition, we need to study the physiological characteristics of students. Now there is a problem called "puppy love", which has confused many teachers. When students are growing up, the consciousness of youth emerges. When we design activities, we should reflect the characteristics of "living" and let students participate better and more actively, eliminating all kinds of problems in adolescence. kind of confusion.
(3) Holisticity
Class activities should focus on the whole. Especially in terms of educational stage, educational content, and educational strength, the whole is highlighted. At the education stage, I think there should be an overall consideration. What are the educational focuses of the first, second and third grade students? There should be a comprehensive consideration. Similarly, what are the educational focuses of the first, second and third grade students in high school? Design class activities accordingly. The content of education, simply put, means that morality, intelligence, body, beauty, and labor should all be considered. As for the power of education, we should pay attention to the power of classroom teachers and the power of parents.
(4) Openness
For openness, attention should be paid to formal openness. We must consciously change the closed classroom into an open classroom and invite everyone to participate.
First, it is open to the school. First, you can invite the squad leader, league branch secretary or deputy squad leader or publicity committee member of your brother's class. Secondly, it is carried out together in the same grade. Sometimes it is two classes, and sometimes it can be the whole grade. Furthermore, senior students are invited to make some introductions to students of this grade. Also, there are friendship classes – beyond the boundaries of the school. I once carried out social activities with the aforementioned teacher Zhang Wanxiang from Tianjin - two classes thousands of miles away.
Second, open to families. I think there are two forms, one is to invite parents to directly participate in the activities of the friendship class; the other is to ask parents to pay attention to the activities of the class. For example, when holding a "14th collective birthday" event, we ask parents to write letters of congratulations and send a gift. So, many teachers may encounter such a problem, that is, sometimes they cannot write letters to parents well and feel that they cannot write them. What should they do? Here's what I did. Before holding the activity, hold a parent-teacher meeting to explain the theme of the activity to the parents. Ask the parents to put the letter to their children in a small envelope and write it to a certain classmate, and then put it in a big envelope and say Teacher Ding accepts it. The letter in the small envelope is not sealed, but the large envelope is sealed and brought to me by the child. What are the benefits of doing this? This is actually an agreement made with the parents in advance, and the teacher will read the letter to the child first. I read the parents’ letter first and excerpted the wonderful words in it for everyone to share. This form is very touching and can achieve good educational results. I introduce it to parents at the parent-teacher meeting before each activity, and encourage parents to write better and more touching words, which will make the children unforgettable for life and shock their hearts. Many of our parents wrote very well. Later, I wrote a special article "Birthday Gifts", which are all excellent choices for congratulatory letters.
Third, open to the society. The traditional approach is "come in, come out." I think what’s more important is the openness in content. First of all, students should be allowed to understand the reform and opening up society and understand the situation of social development. Secondly, as a class teacher, you should guide students to understand representatives from all walks of life. Not long ago, I saw the news that Shanghai surveyed the career preferences of middle school students: less than 1% were willing to be workers. I think that's a surprising number. As the saying goes: Three hundred and sixty years of practice will lead to the number one scholar. I think that as a class teacher, we should guide students to understand representatives from all walks of life and help students find "important others" in their lives.
(5) Subjectivity
Activities should be based on students, and more activities should be designed that every student in the class can participate in. For example, everyone comes to give a "one-minute speech." Although it is a bit difficult in practice. However, if we think of some ways, it can be done with dozens of people in the class and each person speaking for one minute. When students speak, it is clearly required that they can only speak for one minute. When 55 seconds are reached, a prompt sound is set. The prompt sound must end the speech, and then the next student will speak. When designing activities, you can also arrange that when a student in front speaks, a student behind him will sit next to him and wait. After he finishes speaking, another student will immediately take over. In this way, if dozens of students speak, the time is completely enough.
(6) Knowledge
If there are more class activities, will it affect students’ cultural learning? In fact, carrying out activities is conducive to the improvement of students' comprehensive quality. As the overall quality is improved, his cultural studies can also be developed. At the same time, activities should also reflect knowledge. First, class activities that are directly related to cultural learning can be designed, such as subject competitions. Secondly, carry out activities closely related to cultural learning, such as activities related to the guidance of learning purposes and learning methods. Furthermore, carry out cultural knowledge activities in a broad sense, such as necessary interpersonal etiquette knowledge. In addition, even if it is an activity focused on ideological education, attention should be paid to the use of the power of knowledge. For example, we carried out such an activity in the first grade of high school: Be a moral person. We will introduce some famous quotes and examples of famous people, and use the power of knowledge to promote students' pursuit of morality.
(7) Diversity
To improve the educational significance of class activities, attention should be paid to the diversity of forms. I designed a full series of activities for middle school classes, from the first year of junior high school to the third year of high school, with 10 activities per semester, presented as a basic course. I did an analysis myself and found that among the 120 activities, 106 were relatively new in form. Students found them very interesting and were highly motivated to participate.
(8) Ease of operation
First of all, pay attention to the rhythm of the activity. I believe that class activities, especially thematic class activities, should not be carried out too frequently. There is a lot of work to do after the activity, and too much will affect learning. However, it cannot be too little. Because too little will not achieve good results. Second, we need to enhance the awareness of the lesson and conduct careful research and design on time and structure.
(9) Creativity
To do an activity well, it must be constantly innovated. First of all, in terms of content, with the development of the times, we should choose new content. Creativity is also reflected in form, and we need to adopt many good forms and study them.
Before the summer vacation, when the junior high school students graduated, I thought some teachers were actively carrying out activities. For example, while waiting for notification, organize an event to meet again in 20 years. I personally like to engage in this activity. This activity is conducive to strengthening the friendship between classmates and helping students further pursue their ideals. We can also learn from good activity forms in movies and TV and apply them to our lives. I have made a lot of attempts in this regard. For example, students talked about the debate activities on TV. When I walked into the classroom today, I saw two big words written on the blackboard - "Debate". Like giants standing tall on the sky and the earth, each holding his own words and refusing to give in to each other. When CCTV organized the debate, it made two very big words. I wrote this form on the blackboard, and then the banner title read "How to be an excellent Communist Youth League member". Everyone felt very fresh.
(10) Sequence
Class activities must not only form a series, but also form a reasonable sequence. In terms of internal structure, I divide it into three structures. The first vertical structure. What is vertical structure? The former activity is the starting point of the latter activity, and the latter activity is the continuation and deepening of the previous activity, connected step by step. The second horizontal structure. What is horizontal structure? It revolves around the theme and presents the theme from different aspects. The third type is a crisscross structure.
