Paralympics, the full name of Paralympics, was first held in 1960. It is a large-scale comprehensive World Games for the Disabled sponsored by the International Olympic Committee and the International Paralympic Committee. It will be held every four years after the Summer Olympic Games and will be held in 16 by 2020.
In order to embody the principle of fair competition and enable athletes to compete with opponents with similar types and degrees of disability, athletes with different degrees of disability will be divided into different levels to compete. Therefore, each Paralympic event has its own classification, and the overall level of obstacles can be divided into physical obstacles, cerebral palsy, visual obstacles, spinal nerve injury, learning disabilities (referred to as mental retardation) and other obstacles.
