If the city’s main roads and streets and alleys constitute the capillaries of a city, then the cross-river bridge is the steel backbone, which carries the soul and essence of the modern city on the arteries of the river. It symbolizes the city's unyielding will. In addition to linking the close relationship between urban areas, it also builds a city's public and restrained spirit.
The same is true for the 19 cross-river bridges in Nanning. Since their birth, they have played a role in reconstructing the regional map of Nanning and shortening the distance between urban areas in addition to their functions as transportation infrastructure.

Just like Nanning’s first cross-river bridge? With the emergence of the Yongjiang River Bridge, Nanning people no longer need to ferry across the river. From the south of the city to the north, there is only one bridge. The opening of Nanning Bridge has also laid an important transportation foundation for the rise of Wuxiang New District.
With the renovation and upgrading of river views on both sides of the Baili Yongjiang River, the transportation and natural resource advantages of the bridgehead + riverside view have made properties near the river and bridge extremely popular in the Nanning property market. The premium is extremely high.
One bridge, one history
The Yongjiang Bridge started the bridge transportation process in Nanning. Before, if you wanted to go to Chaoyang from Jiangnan, you had to take a ferry from Lingtie Ferry.
It has been 55 years since the Yongjiang Bridge was completed and opened to traffic in July 1964. It is the first cross-river bridge in Nanning City. The older generation of Nanning people like to call it its nickname: Yiqiao.

As the first cross-river highway bridge in Nanning, the Yongjiang Bridge has a simple and timeless appearance design and excellent construction quality. Its span was the largest of its kind in the country at that time. The bridge has a strong body and has stood firm in the river despite the turbulent flood of 1968 that has not happened in a century. It has witnessed the urban development of Nanning, from an unknown corner in the southwest to an international metropolis. Since then, the Zhongxing Bridge (the second bridge) in 1988, the Baisha Bridge (the third bridge) in 1995, the Pumiao Bridge (also called the Rainbow Bridge) in 1996, the Qingchuan Bridge (the fourth bridge) in 1997, and the Sangan Bridge in 1998 began to spring up like mushrooms after rain. Build it up.
