Overview of Incoloy800HT characteristics and application fields;
This alloy can resist the corrosion of many corrosive media. Its high nickel content makes it have good stress corrosion cracking resistance under water corrosion conditions. The high chromium content makes it have better resistance to pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion cracking. The alloy has good corrosion resistance to nitric acid and organic acid, but its corrosion resistance in sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid is limited. In addition to the possibility of pitting corrosion in halides, it has good corrosion resistance in oxidizing and non-oxidizing salts. It also has good corrosion resistance in water, steam and the mixture of steam, air and carbon dioxide. Used in nitric acid condenser-nitric acid corrosion resistance, steam heating pipe-good mechanical properties, heating element pipe-good mechanical properties and so on.

Metallographic structure of Incoloy800HT;
The alloy has a face-centered cubic lattice structure. Extremely low carbon content and improved Ti:C ratio increase the stability, maximum sensitivity and intergranular corrosion resistance of the structure. Low temperature annealing at about 950℃ ensures fine grain structure.
Process performance and requirements of Incoloy800HT;
1, the alloy is suitable for hot working and cold working, but because of its high strength, it needs high-power processing equipment.
2. The hot working temperature range of the alloy is 1200℃ ~ 900℃, and the cooling mode is water quenching or as soon as possible between 760℃ and 540℃. Hot bending should be carried out between 1 150℃ and 1000℃.
3. Suitable for any traditional welding process, such as tungsten inert gas shielded welding, plasma arc welding, manual sub-arc welding, metal inert gas shielded welding, metal inert gas shielded arc welding, etc.
