I really count them. Every time I go to Liaocheng on business, I always take away a few Wei's smoked chickens, which Lao She called "the iron rooster". Dry eating is really as hard as chewing wood, but the taste is too fragrant. There is also a smoked chicken in Wugeng furnace, which is also very good.
Liaocheng has two districts (Dongchangfu District and Chiping District) and six counties (Linqing, Dong 'e, Gaotang, guanxian, Yanggu and Shenxian). Dongchangfu District is the Liaocheng City, which is known as the Watertown in the North of the Yangtze River. The scenic spots are mainly in the ancient city area in the center of dongchang lake, such as Guangyuelou, Shanshan Guild Hall, Fu Sinian Exhibition Hall, Kong Fansen Memorial Hall, Iron Tower and Canal Culture. I remember that every time I go to Liaocheng for business, I first go to the Huimin District of Dongguan Street to have a mutton soup, and then cross the bridge to the ancient city. To tell the truth, the development of the ancient city has been overdone in recent years, but it seems that it has not yet exerted the maximum potential of the resources of Jiangbei Shuicheng. There is another place worth mentioning-Liaocheng University, which is said to have the largest school gate in Asia, and is as wide and magnificent as the Three Gorges Dam. dongchang lake: Liaocheng's business card was slowly dug and dredged from the moat of the ancient city, and it was about the size of Hangzhou West Lake. The center of the lake is the square Liaocheng ancient city, with an area of about 1 square kilometer, which is still quite large.
Guangyuelou: a landmark building in Liaocheng, one of the top ten famous buildings in China, is the center and the highest point of the ancient city. It was built in the early Ming Dynasty, and Emperor Kangxi visited the palace many times, making it feel no less than the bell tower in Xi 'an and the Drum Tower in Beijing. Compared with the Yellow Crane Tower in Wuhan, Guangyuelou is a wooden pavilion with a history of more than 6 years, which plays an important role in the history of ancient architecture in China.
Shanshan Guild Hall: To illustrate the complexity and exquisiteness of Qing architecture, Shanshan Guild Hall is definitely the most surprising place in Liaocheng. It witnessed the prosperity of Liaocheng and the richness of Shanxi merchants and Shandong merchants in the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal era. The artistic level of architectural sculpture and painting in the Guild Hall is rare in China.
Fu Sinian Exhibition Hall: The Fu Sinian Exhibition Hall used to be the former residence of the Fu family. In the history of the Republic of China, in the era when the last generation of masters emerged, Fu Sinian definitely wrote a rich and colorful stroke. He is a master of Chinese studies, a historian, an archaeologist, an expert in education, and a student leader of the May 4th Movement. He is also known as the "first cannon of the Republic of China". Fu Sinian "refused to be an official" and impeached Kong Xiangxi and Song Ziwen, the two presidents of the National Government, and achieved a miracle that even Mr. Lu Xun never did.
