[Appreciation] These are two maxims that inspire people to overcome difficulties and aspire to achieve their careers by taking advantage of plum blossom's proud snow to welcome frost and cold ling's aloof personality. As for plum blossom, Song Fan Chengda's Preface to Plum Orchestration said: "Plum, a stunner in the world, dare to disagree without asking for wisdom and ignorance." The "stunner" here refers to a particularly rare flower, that is to say, plum is a plant with higher quality than others. It can be seen that the author symbolizes a spirit with plum blossom, which itself contains some philosophies; If we give causal hints to the "biting cold" and "fragrant smell" it experienced, "plum blossom" as a carrier will have another profound truth. The author is a generation of Buddhist Zen monks. He used this poem to express his determination to persevere and practice results, and to tell the correct attitude that people should adopt when dealing with all difficulties. This is also the main reason why these two poems are very famous and often quoted, and they have changed from Zen poems to secular famous sayings.

The old woman said, "I am grinding the needle." Li Bai was surprised and asked, "Oh dear! As thick as a pestle, how can it be ground into a needle? " The old woman walked over and said, "As long as the pestle is always ground more and more finely every day, are you still afraid that it is not a needle?"

Li Bai, a clever man, was ashamed of himself after hearing this. He turned and ran back to the bookstore. From then on, he kept in mind the truth that "as long as kung fu is deep, the iron pestle is ground into a needle" and studied hard.
