The famous saying "Be cautious and independent will make you feel at ease, respect your master and you will be strong, seek benevolence and you will be pleased with others, practice hard work and you will be admired by gods", which is intended to elaborate on personal cultivation and code of conduct. First of all, being cautious when alone can cultivate inner peace and calmness, allowing you to maintain peace of mind when interacting with others. Secondly, treating people and things with respect, whether it is inner concentration or outer demeanor, can make the body and mind strong. Pursuing benevolence and treating others with kindness can win the recognition and joy of others. Finally, through hard work and labor, the value of self-reliance is reflected, and this spirit will be appreciated by the gods. These four principles were elaborated by Zeng Guofan in "Zeng Guofan's Book of Admonitions to His Sons", aiming to teach future generations how to cultivate their moral integrity and manage their families, so as to maintain long-term family prosperity and the emergence of talents.
