Next, I will introduce the original appearance of the manor to the leaders (friends). Wang Yaoshan Manor is located in Yaoshan Town, 9.5 kilometers east of Shunping County. Wangshi Manor in Yaoshan enjoys a superior geographical position, with Fu Bao and Beijing-Zan expressways passing through the territory, which is only 25 kilometers away from the capital Beijing160km, Tianjin180km, Shijiazhuang120km and Baoding, a national historical and cultural city.
Wangshi Manor in Yaoshan is a national key cultural relic protection unit, and it is the most intact residential complex in North China. Built in the early years of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty. It used to be a castle-like landlord manor, surrounded by high walls. The wall around it is five feet thick, with a crib, more roads on the wall, a protective ditch outside the wall and a horse path inside the wall. The manor is divided into four parts by three east-west inner streets, namely "North Garden", "Middle Garden", "South Garden" and "Courtyard" from north to south. Most of the northern areas are residential areas, with more than 50 complete courtyards and more than 500 houses of various types. The south yard has rented houses, warehouses, chariots and horses, etc. There is a village gate in the middle street. It turns out that the whole manor is 368.5 meters wide from east to west, 504 1 meter long from north to south, and covers an area of186,000 square meters, or 279 mu.
Huaiyin avenue
This is part of the inner street of the manor. The courtyard in the north is called Nanyuan, and the courtyard in the south is called Yard. Most of the existing manors are South Gardens, which will only be displayed to tourists during the first phase of renovation and opening up, while the North Gardens and Central Gardens will be gradually renovated and opened up in the future.
Menghetang main gate
This is the main entrance of Menghetang. In the heyday of Wang Manor, every household had a hall number. The front door was usually closed and people came in and out through the side door.
Menghetang side door
This is the side door of Meng Hetang, also called the car door, which is commonly used; But if the guest is an uninvited guest, it is inevitable that he will sit on the bench in the concierge, wait until the concierge goes in and tells the housekeeper, and the housekeeper can only go in after telling the master. You may not have noticed that the gate here has no knocker. In addition to the warehouse, there are locked hangers in the manor. All the gates are unattended, and there are no knockers and locks.
Nanyuan
Nanyuan is a part of the second phase project of Wang Manor. It was built in the 5th year of Qing Emperor Kangxi (namely 1666), and its layout is divided into four parts. West Road is a courtyard composed of four hospitals, and it is the residence for the elderly to enjoy their lives. There used to be a single courtyard in the north, but it was demolished in the late Qing Dynasty. Zhonglu is the residence of the old master Xigun Wang, and it is a fully functional compound composed of ten courtyards. Such a large-scale apartment is extremely rare in ancient residential buildings in northern China. After 300 years of historical vicissitudes, there are still six courtyards preserved to this day, which is really fortunate. On the East Road, there used to be a courtyard consisting of four courtyards, which was the residence of Wang Pei, the third son of Xigun Wang. Now there are only two yards left. There is a big garden covering an area of more than ten acres in the east, commonly known as "Miss Courtyard" or "Garden". There is a single courtyard in the south, commonly known as hall courtyard, or "shop courtyard". It used to be a guest room courtyard for entertaining guests, but it was later converted into an accounting room courtyard. There is a lotus pond in the south-central part, and the surrounding open space is called "Peony Garden". There are three quadrangles in the north and northeast corner, which are the residences of unmarried young masters and young ladies accompanied by maids and old ladies, similar to Hongyiyuan, Wuhengyuan and Xiaoxiang Pavilion in the Grand View Garden of A Dream of Red Mansions. Martyr Wang Shuci, the wife of Comrade Lin Tie, the former secretary of Hebei Provincial Party Committee, and teacher Wang Shuhui, the wife of Chen Hanzhang, the former principal of Wanxian Middle School, were both young ladies in this hospital and spent their childhood here.
