Wife's Lies is a contemporary urban drama directed by He Zhou and starring Ding Anni, Zhang Xiaolong, Lulu and Shen.

The play is adapted from the Korean TV series My Daughter Su Ying, and tells the story of Li Xiaxi, a law student, working to pay off debts for her father who failed in business. By mistake, Jiang Tianhao, the president of the group, became a tutor to his youngest son, Jiang Yiming, and then fell in love with Jiang Yibin, the son of Jiang's parents.

Drama evaluation

The drama is remake from Korean drama, the plot is completely plagiarized and lacks innovation; Some scenes in the play are over-polished, and the characters are yellow and emaciated. They don't pay attention to details and elaborate, but only care about stimulating the audience with dog blood, but forget that the plot and characters of TV dramas need to be logical and reasonable. Several actors in the play do not match their roles at all.
