A letter from Fu Lei

Letters from Fu Lei published by Sanlian Bookstore 198 1 reproduces the touching process that Fu Lei helped his son Fu Cong grow up in life, life details, artistic accomplishment and playing posture through letter education, which is deeply loved by readers. In the past 20 years, * * * has published five editions, with cumulative sales of 1 18. Due to the copyright term, the book was recently published by Liaoning Education Press. According to Fu Min, Fu Lei's second son, the manuscripts of Fu Lei and his wife were severely damaged during the Cultural Revolution, and Fu Cong emigrated many times. The letters and materials discovered one after another made the triple edition of Fu Lei Letters revised four times. This time, the new edition of Fu Lei's Letters from Liao Jiao added 1 1 letters, 23 letters from Fu Lei's wife Zhu Meifu and 6 letters from Fu Cong as the preface of the new edition. Together with the three original letters of Fu Lei and Fu Min, it can better reflect the integrity of Fu Lei's letters.

In the newly-added letter from Fu Lei1September 28, 954, the reporter saw Fu Lei's frank criticism of Lao She's Four Generations under One Family: "... I recently checked Lao She's Four Generations under One Family, and found that there are many problems in writing, not only in poor writing, but also in incoherent context in many places. Others are procrastinating, nagging and putting on airs. I admired his articles a few years ago, but now I find that he has many problems. It can be seen that I am not only dissatisfied with my own translation, but also with the creation of others. Lao she's novel, the original intention is to learn, the result can't find anything to learn ... "

Fu Min pointed out in particular that Fu Lei's last letter of new income is precious. According to his inference, this English letter from Fu Lei to his daughter-in-law Milla was written in August 12 1966, but Fu Cong didn't find it later. In 2000, Professor Chen Zishan of East China Normal University came across this letter translated into Chinese by Lin Xingzhi who interviewed Fu Cong that year. This time, it was translated into Chinese by Professor Jin Shenghua of the Chinese University. Fu Min said that Fu Cong was deeply impressed by his father's "sadness" in this letter. Three weeks after the letter was sent, that is,1September 3, 966, Mr. and Mrs. Fu Lei left with a grudge.

Due to historical reasons, the three editions of Letters from Fu Lei mainly focus on music and thoughts. Therefore, Fu Min concealed the names of some characters in his letters at that time, and deleted some irrelevant or talkative people in the letters.
