Jizhou Middle School held a hard-pen calligraphy competition in a series of activities with the theme of learning from Lei Feng

On March 9, in order to further promote the spirit of Lei Feng and enrich and develop the connotation and form of the activities of learning from Lei Feng in the new era, On the afternoon of March 9, the Education Office of the East Campus of Jizhou Middle School in Hengshui, Hebei Province held a hard-pen calligraphy competition among the second-grade students with the theme of "Carrying forward the spirit of Lei Feng and striving to be a new generation of the times". More than 200 students participated.

During the competition, the students wrote with passion and heart. They hold pens correctly, sit upright, and show good writing habits. The works have smooth strokes, horizontal and vertical lines, well-proportioned structure, and overall beautiful appearance, demonstrating the high artistic quality of the students in Hebei Middle School.

Calligrapher He Enbai was the judge of this competition, and it passed He Enbai’s fair, strict and serious preliminary evaluation, re-evaluation and final evaluation. 100 works will be reviewed, including 16 winning works and 16 winning nominations. It is understood that He Enbai, whose courtesy name is Jinlin. His ancestral home is Shangcheng County, Henan Province. He currently lives in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. He was born in 1966. Currently, he is a senior researcher at the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Art Research Institute, specializing in Ou Kai calligraphy creation.

This hard-pen calligraphy competition showcased the calligraphy style of the students, inherited the spirit of Lei Feng, and promoted the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation. I believe that the students will definitely pay tribute to Lei Feng with their practical actions and strive to become Lei Feng-style students of Hebei Middle School in the new era.
