For example, The Travel Notes of Hei Mei Song said: "As a proverb goes, it is difficult for a person to find a needle. If you lose it in the sea by boat, you can't find it halfway, and then suddenly get the needle when you sail, it will be more difficult for your body to recover. ..... It's rare to become a monk, and all beings are robbed of six lives, suffering and bound by greed and love. The root of love is the wife. Without a wife, the troubles are removed and it is easy to be born. Yesterday, Gao's family saw the gaunt appearance of the charcoal soldier, sympathized with his hard work and advised him to become a monk. Only one person is willing to go. King Qi sighed: Everyone has a loving family, so they can't get rid of it. And if you become a monk early, you will still be returned as a layman. It is difficult to become a monk, and it is reasonable to know. " (Volume down)
Of the six ways, man is the most precious, because the human body is the easiest to learn and achieve Buddhism. It takes a lot of good roots to get a person, that is to say, it takes a lot of good deeds to get a person in this life. Similarly, only a lot of people with good roots and good careers will believe in Buddhism. From the perspective of the whole world, there are not many countries with Buddhism, with a population of more than 6 billion. According to westerners' statistics, there are only 450 million Buddhists, less than one tenth of the world's total population. India is the birthplace of Buddhism, but Buddhism has basically disappeared in India. China is called the second hometown of Buddhism. Over the past two thousand years, Buddhism has been deeply rooted in China, with profound roots and considerable connotations, and has been integrated into the blood of Chinese children. Therefore, people like us who were born in China and believe in Buddhism are very rare.
Can you learn Buddhism well when you meet it? Not necessarily. "Forty-two Classics" said: "Taoism is difficult." Once a person has money, he will be fascinated by the blessings. Why are you obsessed with blessings? Because he used to practice blessing instead of wisdom, it is ok to ask him to do some good deeds, so that he will have a headache when studying Buddhism, or sit there with low back pain, otherwise he will doze off. If you don't learn Buddhism well in this life, at the end of this life, you will be reincarnated with karma, and it is even more impossible to learn Buddhism all your life. If the three evils degenerate, it will be even more difficult to listen to Buddhism. It is also difficult for Jaken's handstands or deaf people to learn Buddhism. Therefore, learning to become a Buddhist monk in this life is very rare and worth cherishing. What's more, human life is impermanent, just like a car will be scrapped after a long time, and our flesh and blood will be broken for decades. Therefore, we should cherish the good karma of becoming a monk and learn from Buddhism to carry forward Buddhism.
The abbot and the promotion of Buddhism, becoming a monk is very unique For example, "Notes and Cautions on Four Laws" said: "Buddhists are two treasures, and they live by monks; Since the righteousness of monks has been lost, does Buddhism still exist? " (Volume 4) "Four Notes on Handling Banknotes" says: "Buddhism is two treasures, and becoming a monk is false." (Volume 1) When the Buddha was alive, monks who became monks were the closest people to the Buddha, and they followed the Buddha to become monks, learn Buddhism, cultivate monasteries and achieve success every day. After the death of the Buddha, Buddhism was passed down from generation to generation by monks, from India to China, from ancient times to the present. It is because so many people have become monks that Buddhism can be handed down. Especially in the late French era, the image of the three treasures was very important to the abbot of Buddhism. Temples, pagodas, Buddha statues, Buddhist scriptures, monks and so on were all representatives of Buddhism and were called the abbot's three treasures. "Gui Yao Jie Ji" said: "The abbot said that when the Buddha was alive, he became a treasure under the tree; Say the four truths as a magic weapon; Five bhikkhus are the treasure of bhikkhus. After the death of the Buddha, Jin Fan merged with the earth and painted Danqing as a Buddha treasure; Paper books and the teachings of Sanzang and Eight Lords are magic weapons; Shaving hair and dyeing clothes, Long Shao Buddha turned into a monk's treasure. These three abbots are endless, so they are called the abbot's three treasures. " (Volume) Being a monk is enough. Therefore, in order to spread and continue Buddhism, becoming a monk is very important.
The same is true of personal practice. Monks are professional Buddhists, who can spend all their time and life studying, practicing and experiencing Buddhism. However, it is difficult to study Buddhism wholeheartedly at home, and there are many limitations and obstacles. For example, "Great Wisdom" said: "Q: What's the use of becoming a monk if you can get heaven, bodhisattva and nirvana at home? Answer: Although we all have degrees, it is very difficult. If you want to concentrate on the Tao, your family business will be abolished; If you want to specialize in the family business, you are useless. Don't give up, this is a legal problem, in a dilemma. When you become a monk, you will never be confused, always concentrate, and it will be easy to do things. Again, there is a lot of trouble at home, too many things to do, and it is a home of all evils. For example, a monk, someone out of the open stoping, has no mind, no mind, foreign affairs. For example, if you sit idle among trees and silently eliminate all evils, you will be happy with all your heart. People seek wealth and wealth, good clothes and good sleep, happy and restless, and not greedy. Begging is always like this. From the wisdom of the eyes, the law is known. In all kinds of methods, we all look at it from the same angle. The understanding of wisdom is silent and the three realms are powerless. Therefore, it is easy to become a monk, and the way to practice is also. " (Volume 13) Monks abandon worldly comforts, pursue self-interest and altruism, and easily achieve extraordinary abstinence and wisdom, so they are called monk treasures. For example, A Brief Introduction to the Family History of Shi said: "In Fa Yuan, Zhu said that people talked about the monk's treasure, said that they were forbidden to keep the truth, behaved in a vulgar way, and made laws outside the picture to show their heart and abandon the world. Guan Rong is unmoved, and his relatives should not worry. He called it a monk's treasure. (in the volume)
Believe in the preciousness of becoming a monk, and start the heart of becoming a monk. Even if you haven't become a monk, your merits are incredible. For example, the "Monk Sutra" said, "If all sentient beings in the three thousand worlds rob their children of their merits, it is better for someone to return home from their hearts and gain merits silently." Because everything the former does is a merit in the world, and giving a heart to the family can achieve the merit of inaction. There is an essential difference between the two.
If we become monks ourselves, or let others become monks, our merits will be more remarkable. For example, The Classic of Virtue and Stupidity says:
If so, I heard that the Buddha is in the bamboo garden of the palace of Mogata and Galanta. The Buddha praised the merits of becoming a monk because of his many blessings. If you release men and women, if you release handmaiden, if you listen to the people, if you become a monk, your merits are boundless. The reward of giving is ten generations of blessings, ten lines in six days. Therefore, it is better to let people become monks and become monks themselves. Why? The newspaper of giving, the blessing is limited; The happiness of becoming a monk is boundless. He also holds the precepts and rewards, and the five immortals are blessed by heaven and bless the Brahma; In Buddhism, the result of becoming a monk is incredible, even nirvana, with endless blessings. If someone rises to seven towers for thirty-three days, his merits are not as good as becoming a monk. Why? Seven towers, greed and stupidity can be broken; The law of becoming a monk never dies. Asking for good dharma, there is no victory except dharma. Like a hundred blind people, there is a clever doctor who can cure their eyes and let them look for a while. There are still a hundred people who want to find fault with their crimes. One person is strong enough to save his crimes without losing his sight. Although the happiness of these two people is infinite, it is better to listen to people become monks. Why? Although it can be applied to two kinds of people, this person only gets lifelong benefits; This is naked sexual corruption. Listening to people become monks, if you become monks yourself, show and guide all beings to rob the supreme eye forever; A discerning person is not bad through robbery. Why? Blessed people in the sky enjoy themselves endlessly. So what? By becoming a monk, killing demons and destroying family members, increasing the number of Buddhists, eliminating evil laws, practicing good laws, removing sins and removing scales, and eliminating karma without happiness. Therefore, the Buddha said that the merit of becoming a monk is higher than that of Sumeru, deeper than the sea and wider than emptiness. It is a serious crime to let others leave trouble for the monk and make him unwilling to do so. If the night is dark and nothing can be seen, it will be as dark and blind as human crimes in the deep hell; For example, in the sea, rivers and streams flood into it, and so does this man's sin, and all sins gather on him; If Mount Sumi is burned, there will be nothing. This man is also the fire of hell, and there is no poverty. For example, Galilee's medicine is very poisonous and bitter. If the weight is equal to stone honey, good and evil are the same. Listening to people become monks and becoming monks by themselves is the greatest merit. Taking monks as water and washing dirt can eliminate the pain of life and death and be the cause of nirvana; Take Puni as the foot, practice pure precepts; Taking Adamo as the aim, and regarding the good and evil in the world, we will roam the road of Eight Righteousness and go to the wonderful city of Elysium. Therefore, if you let others become monks, you become monks, you are old, you are young, and your happiness is the best. (Volume IV)
Being a monk has boundless merits, which is rare. You should hope to find a home and be glad that you are a monk! However, becoming a monk is not easy. For example, The Theory of Great Wisdom says, "Becoming a monk is the most difficult thing in Buddhism. For example, Yan Fuyu asked Sharifutsu: Which is the most difficult Buddhism? Sharifutsu: It is difficult to become a monk. One more question: Why is it so difficult to become a monk? Answer: Is it difficult to become a monk? Given the musical method, what is the dilemma? It is difficult to cultivate good laws. " (Volume XIII) After becoming a monk, the hardships of work and interpersonal conflicts in secular society have been greatly reduced. If you don't think deeply about the connotation of suffering, you will lack the sense of urgency in practicing. The heart of seeking truth from suffering will gradually weaken, and it takes time to eat all day. Listening, thinking and practicing Buddhism have no power, and confidence and Taoist heart will not grow. Some people are diligent when they first become monks. After a long time, they can't see progress and lose confidence. Some people run away from home, but they can't stand the temptation of lust and return to vulgarity; After becoming a monk, some people always see the problems of their teachers and friends' environment. They are very painful and disappointed, but they return to the secular world.
Why is this happening? There are two main reasons: first, the intention of becoming a monk is vague and the motivation is shallow; Second, there is no good environment for teachers and friends after becoming a monk. The reasons for becoming a monk vary from person to person, and some become monks after realizing the hardships of the world and the impermanence of life; Some are convinced of the three treasures and become a monk. Some believe in becoming a monk with good knowledge; Some of them were sent to become monks by their parents ... whatever the karma, the motivation to become monks is the most fundamental. If the motive is impure or unclear, you will go with the flow when you encounter bad karma. So at the beginning, we should think clearly about what becoming a monk is, why we should become a monk, what we should learn after becoming a monk, and what we should do after learning. And after becoming a monk, we must constantly think and experience, so that our hearts will become more and more convinced, and the road to becoming a monk will become more and more practical, steadily improve and achieve something.
A real monk should be clear about his lofty aspirations and establish pure motives. Broadly speaking, we should have lofty expectations for ourselves and expect to be an excellent monk. The quality of excellent monks can be measured from five aspects, namely, ambition, morality, talent and learning.
The first is "ambition". It is to be determined. Confucianism stresses determination, while Buddhism stresses wishing. Anyone who has achieved something in the world has great ambitions first. As a monk, you should be more ambitious. Without ambition, there is no direction, and there is no upward motivation in life. How high your ambition is, how great your achievement will be. So, first make sure.
Aspiring is to set a long-term goal, not always yearning for it. Once you set your ambition, you can't give it up easily. The so-called "perseverance, determination to win", no matter what difficulties you encounter, you can't back down, you must persevere and pursue it for life. "Hanshan Old Man Sleepwalking Collection" said: "Confucius said: The three armed forces can win the handsome, but the ordinary man can't win the ambition. Once again: seeking ambition in seclusion. What can I ask? As the saying goes: Keep your ambition and you won't get angry. This sage teaches people that his bravery is more obvious than his liver. Husband mantis angered his arm as a rut, so what is his ambition! A scholar who has tasted the world seems to be good every time he is interested in fame, wealth, loyalty and filial piety. When he encounters a little humiliation, he is hungry and sick, and he is depressed and groans. If you are slightly dissatisfied, you will be angry and ignore your body; If you are dissolute, you will forget your life. If you are, you will live in Yun Zhi forever, but if you are taught by Confucius, you can't take it away. If you are taught by Mencius, you can take it. There is no other way, and I have no desire to live in seclusion. Ha ha! Frustration, humiliation, hunger, cold, poverty and disease are no more than ruts, and people are no less than mantis, so they are all angry! Why is this? Scholars deeply seek this and can express their aspirations. " (Volume 12)
Becoming a monk is to be a saint! We must be a bodhisattva! To become a Buddha for our ancestors! Should have such courage and verve! Napoleon famously said, "A soldier who doesn't want to be a marshal is not a good soldier." Similarly, a monk who doesn't want to become a Buddha is not an excellent monk. Some people may think: "I am so poor that I dare not talk about becoming a Buddha as an ancestor!" " "This is don't believe in their own potential, actually also don't believe in Buddhism.
In the Prajna Sutra for Protecting the Country in Benevolent King, the wise master of Sui Dynasty said: "The sutra says that all beings have Buddha nature and will become Buddha." (Volume V)
The Central Digging Compass said:
Manjushri said, "What's the point of coming to Tibet?" If all sentient beings know that there is Tathagata and hiding, then all sentient beings are regarded as Buddhas; All living beings should kill, steal, commit adultery, talk nonsense, drink alcohol and other evil deeds. Why? All living beings know that they have Buddha nature and deserve it for a while; If there is Buddha nature, treat it as a sin and explain it. If there is me and my world, when everything is there, there is no me and no boundary in the world. All laws are Buddhism without me. The Buddha said to Manjushri: All sentient beings have Tathagata to hide, and they are covered with endless troubles, like lamps in a bottle. Again, Manjushri! For example, there is a tune "Master", and Ye Jia said to Tathagata, "But in seven years, I will be the wheel saint king, and I will rule the country according to law, but in seven days, I will be nirvana." When the master heard that there was a prize, he was delighted and enthusiastic, and said, I remember that I was the wheel saint king, and now I don't doubt it. In other words, I want to be strong with my fish, meat, milk, cheese, hemp and beans. He is omnivorous and carnivorous, so he can't live by himself and dies from time to time. What's the difference between Manjusri and Buddhism? Why not be wise? What is the reward of the good roots of the wheel-less holy king? Manjusri teacher Li Baifo said: Buddha! He died because of his bad karma. The Buddha told Manjusri Bodhisattva: Don't speak. He didn't die at that time, and his evil deeds didn't pay off. Manjushri! Peter Buddha didn't know to report bad karma first, remember? I didn't have bad karma first, but now I have done it myself, so that I lost my life. If it is Manjusri, if men and women say: I have Tathagata hidden from me, so I deserve it, I regard it as evil. If you are an evil person, are you worthy of Buddha nature? Not too much? As mentioned above, his tunes have the nature of a king, but they are not appropriate. So what? Let more people escape. The Buddha's nature is not excessive, so that all beings can be freed. All beings have no Buddha, right? There is Buddha nature, such as the wheel king newspaper. Nonsense Buddha? All sentient beings talk nonsense and escape. You can't become a Buddha if you run away from the Dharma. (Volume IV)
"Bodhi Daoji, the Theory of Land Broadness" says:
It is said that those who have obtained Buddhism have made all mistakes forever, after all, they have accomplished all their merits and demerits. It is extremely difficult for me to cultivate a virtue and make a mistake. How can I get such a result? If you are really so timid, you have given up your heart (bodhicitta) and suffered a lot. If it is not established, it should be destroyed from the beginning. Those who break the truth should read the strategy and be on tenterhooks: Buddha, Bhagavan, quantitative scholar, true speaker, true speaker. He still remembers that mosquitoes and flies can prove Bodhi, not to mention that I have rewarded goodness and wisdom in this life. So, if I can be diligent and not waste, why can't I get Bodhi? For example, as the saying goes, if you can't retire, you can't prove Bodhi. People who come to talk honestly say this: all mosquitoes, bees, worms, maggots and the like are diligent and prove to be supreme bodhi. What's more, among my strangers, I can know the interests and non-interests, and I don't give up Bodhi. Why not prove bodhi? The past Buddha and the present Buddha merge into the future Buddha. These buddhas didn't become buddhas first, and then cultivated them. They were just like me at first, and then gradually became buddhas. Think like this and get rid of cowardice. The Baoyun Sutra says: Bodhisattva should think of all Tathagata, Buddha's repentance and Buddha's enlightenment, that is, Buddha's enlightenment, Buddha's enlightenment, Buddha's enlightenment, Buddha's enlightenment and Buddha's enlightenment. Lianyun said: this kind of coming is not all about becoming a Buddha, so I should also be in its supreme bodhi, and make all sentient beings advance together, so I ask for it. "Ode to the Infinite Merit" says: Although you get a good position, you also fall to the extreme; When the Buddha is in danger, he should not stand still, should not stand still and be timid. This timidity is due to knowing that the merits of the Buddhas are boundless, and the results are followed. Therefore, to practice Buddhism, we should make merits and eliminate faults, and then we should be timid and look at ourselves. If the Buddhists have infinite merits in practicing, they can only achieve it by studying hard. If they understand it upside down in the Tao, they are completely fearless now, but this is not a phase of virtue and goodness. It is because the principle of monasticism has not been fixed, or although it is rarely understood, it has never been practiced in good faith and is always easy to be banned. If it is implemented, although it shows the beginning and end of the Tao, the outline is rough and the score is full, it gives birth to a cloud of fear: if so, who can repair it? Abandon the past. ..... In order to get rid of those who dare not retreat easily, I can't say that I have to give up my hands and feet in order to become a Buddha. I should be able to bear this kind of suffering, that is, I don't practice, I have to live by myself, and I have suffered countless hardships such as cracks and thorns, but I have failed to achieve personal gain. Compared with its previous sufferings, Bodhi's sufferings are meaningless, but we can proceed from other interests. As a cloud says, I am afraid to give up, but I am afraid because I have not observed the seriousness. The robbery is endless, and it has been cut, stabbed and cracked many times, but it has not proved Bodhi. Today, I am practicing Bodhi, sharing different pains in order to get rid of internal diseases, such as being cut off. Doctors can cure diseases with little pain, so they should tolerate little pain in order to get rid of all the pain. People who give up life at first are afraid, so they must give up and learn gradually before giving. As for themselves, in the development of compassion, only when they have Italy can they give, so there is nothing difficult to do when they give up their lives. As a cloud says, this therapy is better than not using drugs, and countless serious diseases can be cured in a gentle way. Tutor shilling line, eating vegetables, etc. After learning this truth, you can gradually apply meat. If you feel like a leaf and cut meat when you are with yourself, what is the difficulty here? That's why it's always said that paramita will lay down her life, so it's hard to be bothered. Today, this teaching is about breaking good deeds, saying that it is not necessary to give up when it is difficult to think, such as when it is easy to give up with food. (Volume 12)
"On Cheng Weizhi" said: "What is the cloud of faith? Practical, virtuous, capable, patient, happy, eager, pure in heart, not believing in treatment, happy and good at work. However, there are three differences between faith and unbelief: first, faith is true, which means that you are convinced of the truth of all laws and facts. Second, faith has virtue, that is, you are convinced that you are happy in the three treasures. Third, to believe in strength is to do good all day long and be born a man. I am convinced that power can be achieved, and I hope so. " (Volume VI)
Buddhism is true, it is true. We should be convinced, that is, we should be sure of our potential, not underestimate ourselves, and not give up on ourselves. As the saying goes, "people are not poor." Besides, we got a unique home, which is easy to cultivate! Master Hongyi said in the article "Four Things Young Buddhists Should Pay Attention to": "I can't say that I am an ordinary monk, but I dare to be a monk and a big bodhisattva. Everything is done by yourself, and you can have great ambitions. Nothing is impossible. If you think like this: I dare not expect to be a monk or a great bodhisattva, then I will do things casually, even give up on myself and go down the road. Isn't that dangerous? You know, although you are young, your ambition is not high! "
The second one is Tao. In the world, "Tao" and "Germany" are connected, and here "Tao" and "Germany" are separated. "Tao" has two connotations, one is "fruit Tao", namely Nirvana and Bodhi; The second is "due to Tao", that is, the ways and methods to achieve nirvana and bodhi. What I am talking about here is the second connotation, that is, the methods and steps to achieve lofty goals.
To become a monk, you must aspire to become a Buddha, and to improve your practice, you need to follow the correct order and methods. For example, "On Great Wisdom" said: "What is the cloud of the newly discovered bodhisattva in the absence of ownership of various laws, and she always learns Tao? It's the second line of Ayumdoro's three virtues and three bodhis. ..... Q: Why is it ranked first? A: To become a Bodhi means that if all Buddhism is gone, the Bodhisattva who just started learning will become an empty dharma. How does the cloud learn gradually? So it is second. Although all the rules are difficult to understand, they are effective every time, so they can be successful. For example, the edge ladder, from top to bottom, is high and difficult, but also available. " (Volume 87) He also said: "If Buddhism has gained the fruits of this life, why do Buddhist disciples gain?"? A: As the Buddha said, a walker can practice twice and have nothing to report. If the patient is taught by a good doctor, the treatment will be harmonious and the disease will be cured. It is illegal and bad not to believe in Buddhism, not to follow the rules, and to break the precepts and confuse the mind, so it is illegal and not good to have no income. " (Volume 22) "On the Nature of Taking Treasure after All" said: "Like all kinds of fruit trees, the buds are immortal, and when watered, they grow into big trees. All living beings, in all kinds of troubles, have Tathagata, and there is no obvious skin around them. Plant all kinds of good roots, give birth to bodhi buds, grow gradually every second, and become the king of Tathagata trees. Base, fire, water, wind, moon in space, Doro and other species, he was born in the tree king. All sentient beings, too, are troubled by the bud of enlightenment in the peel. According to Bai Jing and other laws, for various reasons, it gradually increased to become the Buddha king. " (Volume 1) This road of "growing into a Buddha and becoming a great king" is the way to become a Buddha, that is, Bodhi Road. We should know Bodhi Tao, Bodhi Tao and Hope Kuboth Tao in detail, and then we can stick to Bodhi Tao and achieve Bodhi fruit.
In On Bodhi Daoguang, the venerable Adixia described that Bodhi Daoguang was divided into three steps: corporal Daoguang, sergeant Daoguang and sergeant Daoguang: "From bottom to top, we should know that there are three scholars, each with its own differences. If it is convenient, it is only for life and death, for self-interest, and it is called corporal. Abandon three pleasures, cover up evil deeds, but seek self-destruction. He is called a sergeant. You are bitter, you are more bitter than him, you want to be a lifetime, he is a staff sergeant. " Corporal husband hopes that people in this world and future generations are good and happy, and the corresponding corporal way is that man and nature follow the trend; Sergeant Fauci found out that getting rid of the three things and getting rid of life and death, the corresponding sergeant's way is to multiply the sense of sound; Staff sergeant hopes to become a Buddha and endure all kinds of hardships forever. The corresponding way for staff sergeant is the way of Bodhisattva. Corporal morality is the basis of sergeant morality, and corporal and sergeant are the basis of sergeant morality. The core of Staff Sergeant Daoism (Bodhisattva Daoism) is compassion and bodhicitta, which are based on the practice of Bodhisattva Daoism and Staff Sergeant Daoism. For example, the broadest Bodhisattva Daoism says: "If you think about yourself because life and death are not blessed or happy, and the people are bored and rational, and your body is completely unmoved, then you will have no tolerance when other beings are living and dying." The theory of entering the profession says: you think for yourself in front of all sentient beings. You have never dreamed of it. How can you be altruistic? Therefore, when I was a corporal, I thought about suffering all kinds of evil interests; When I was a sergeant, I thought there was no silence and joy, only bitterness; Second only to the feelings of relatives, but good at practicing from the heart, that is, the cause of compassion, bodhicitta has since emerged. Therefore, people who practice the common heart are all for the convenience of the birth of the true bodhicitta, not for the interesting guidance. " (Volume III) On the Broadest Bodhi Dao Ji says: "Those who cultivate sorrow have three sufferings (bitterness, evil bitterness and bitterness), and they should be distressed and affectionate. People in the same trade said, "What makes the cloud so bitter? "? May it leave, I'll leave at once. ..... If the petty officer was born before training, it is easier to be born than to cultivate one's morality. If we only consider this from the top, it will lead to centrifugal causes; If you miss him, it will be the cause of sadness. However, if you don't think from the top, you can't get to the point. "(Volume 8)
Some people think that you don't need a bachelor's degree to learn Mahayana. This is a misunderstanding that the number of ways to become a Buddha is unclear. For example, "The Broadest Theory of Bodhi Daoism" said: "If you know Mahayana, everything is convenient to become a bodhisattva. Aiduo (Maitreya Bodhisattva) said: If you want to benefit all beings, you should cultivate intelligence and do the world's interests. There are two ways for people who are interested in Mahayana: common and uncommon. The co-owner is the Tao mentioned in "Asia takes advantage of Tibet", so why should these be abandoned? Therefore, except those who want to be alone, quiet and happy, others, even though they are Mahayana, should practice. Therefore, it is also true that the bodhisattvas are three times as likely to cause it. ..... If that's the case, all the positive words are extremely suitable except for the little margin to cover up. If you are interested in three times five, you must complete the merits of the next journey. ..... So, we should rely on goodness. In all its excuses, this is a question of making fun of Buddha. All the reasons have been solved. " (Volume 1) The Theory of the Earth by the yoga master said: "If all the Bodhisattvas live in the Bodhisattva's pure precepts, they must look at it this way, and they must say that all the Bodhisattvas should not listen to what they hear, learn the corresponding Buddhism, accept it or study it. How can Bodhisattva be used in listening, listening, receiving and diligent learning by the corresponding Buddhism? This is a crime, a violation, a violation. Why? Bodhisattva is still diligent in studying heretical books, but is it a Buddhist language? If there is no violation, in order to let those who have been practicing the small law give up their desires, they say this. " (Volume 4 1)
Although corporal Dao and sergeant Dao are the basis of sergeant Dao, it does not mean that corporal Dao can be trained only when he is perfect, but that the three kinds of Tao absorb each other and develop each other. For example, the four-point method notes that "words are second, words are inconsistent." (Volume 1) "The Broadest Theory of Bodhi Daoism" says: "As a teacher, I know how to hold all saints in four directions (such as holding a corner of a square towel and holding all other triangles)." (Volume 1) Especially when practicing the way of corporal and sergeant, it is best to establish the motivation to follow the way of sergeant from the beginning. For example, the most extensive theory of Bodhi Tao says, "If you practice life and death for a long time, you will see everything as a fire pit. If you want to get rid of it, you should get rid of it and learn three things (discipline, determination and wisdom). This kind of liberation has nothing to lose, not as fun as it is, but it is only a little bit broken, so it is selfish and imperfect, so it is only a little less altruistic, and later the Buddha advised it to be fun. Therefore, a wise man entered the Mahayana from the beginning. For example, "On Taking Paramita" said, "If it can't lead to the interests of the world, after all, those who abandon this second multiplication and blindly take others as their sex should feel the sorrow of Buddha. There is another cloud: knowing happiness is not like happiness, but like a dream. See crazy force all beings, abandon altruism. What is the significance of egoism? " (Volume 8) also said: "This middle and lower class belongs to the Sino-French category, that is, the bodhisattva has no branch, and the respect (teacher) should also be regarded as a metaphor, and the disciples should get a definite solution here. Read this meaning every time you practice: if you practice bodhicitta, you must love it very much. If not, these paths have nothing to do with the farewell of the staff sergeant, or even fail to reach the real path of the staff sergeant. The bodhicitta is not settled, which leads to obstacles in this heart or frustration here, so this matter needs to be rebuilt. " (Volume III)
Therefore, before practicing Buddhism, we must have a basic understanding of the integrity and inferiority of Tao, and we should not rush to repair it, otherwise we may take a detour or go the wrong way, get twice the result with half the effort, or even have the opposite effect. For example, The Classic of Five Bitter Chapters and Sentences says: "The person who wrote these three sentences, a new learner, can't say. (2) If you don't hear anything, you will be surprised. You will no longer practice the precepts and have no obstacles. Everything will be abandoned in liu de, saying: Everything is empty. What should we do? Words are empty, but actions are going on. There is no merit in saying four things backwards. Bodhisattva should not make the smell unbearable. To teach new knowledge, step by step. Talking about the devil makes you protect the devil. There are five different kinds of life and death pains, which make you believe in sin and happiness, so you can talk about it. "
The third is "virtue". It is internalized in the process of following ambition, which is manifested in the moral character and virtue of the body and mouth. It is more specific and broader. It can be said that the Five Commandments, the Ten Kindness, the Six Degrees of Doing Everything, the Filial Piety and Loyalty advocated by Confucianism, as well as various valuable and meaningful things such as body, language and mind that are beneficial to oneself and all beings, can all be regarded as "virtues" that follow Bodhi Tao. For example, "The Broadest Theory of Bodhi Daoism" said: "The omniscient is not too little, too round, too little virtue, but all virtues. If we can do this, all Mahayana will destroy the public and prepare for Xiu De. Therefore, Mahayana Road takes photos of all the other rides to prove virtue. " (Volume I)
All walks of life in society emphasize professional ethics: doctors should have medical ethics, martial arts practitioners should have military ethics, and teachers should have professional ethics. If a medical practitioner has no medical ethics and is in a bad mood, he will prescribe medicine to the patient casually, and his condition may get worse after eating it. So do people who practice martial arts. They have kung fu. If they are unhappy, point to others and they will be disabled. Teachers should teach and educate people. If they have no professional ethics and are irresponsible to students, they will mislead others. No matter which industry has bad professional ethics, it can't be done well. To become a monk and learn Buddhism, we must complete two kinds of wealth, starting with accumulating merits. Without fortune, wisdom cannot be opened.
