The world is surging, which means a vast sea of people. The Book of the New Tang Dynasty (volume 132) is the fifty-seventh biography of Liu Wuwei. Six gods of Jiang said: "Book, book, spring and autumn, ceremony, music, quick continuation. After the book was finished, people said,' The world is surging, and those who know me look forward to it.' "Xun" refers to the son of historian Liu Zhiji.

The second sentence comes from Mencius' Gongsun Chou: "Who can I stay if I want to rule the world?"
