Deqing County is located in the north of Zhejiang Province, adjacent to Tongxiang City in the east, Yuhang District and Linping District in Hangzhou in the south, Anji County in Huzhou City in the west and Huzhou suburb in the north, and is in the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta. The terrain inclines from west to east and belongs to subtropical monsoon climate. The perennial climate is characterized by four distinct seasons, abundant sunshine, abundant rainfall, warmth and humidity.
Deqing county has a long history and has Liangzhu cultural relics. The name of the county is Linjiang, which takes the meaning of political morality as clear as water. Deqing has a number of historical and cultural relics, such as Yunxiu Temple, a thousand-year-old temple, and Shiqiao in Song Dynasty. It has also trained many historical and cultural celebrities, such as Shen Yue, Meng Jiao and Guan Daosheng.
