"The house built by words is my refuge, my spiritual refuge." This famous saying comes from a Chinese children's literature writer Cao Wenxuan. This winter vacation, all our fifth-grade teachers and students and the principal *** read his book "Childhood's Laughter and Tears".

The content in this book is very exciting, the plot always tugs at my heart, and the ending of the story is both unexpected and reasonable. The author has accumulated a power in each story through his exquisite layout, inspiring us to feel the truth contained in it with our hearts.

Among them, my favorite story is "The Bow-Legged Beagle", which is a story about self-identity. The bandy-legged puppy was ignored by its owner time and time again, so it

secretly determined to become a hunting dog that could run the fastest, jump the farthest, and be the highest. Despite the ridicule of its companions, it never showed any signs of slacking off or becoming discouraged. Through continuous training such as racing with shadows and crossing rivers, it gradually became what it expected. Finally, in a hunt for a male wolf, it proved its strength and won the heartfelt respect of its owner and companions.

We have to admit that the bow-legged terrier has gained recognition and respect from others through its own efforts. Can't we?
