Extended data:

The word "story" in Japanese means story or gossip. Fairy tale literature is a type of Japanese classical literature, which originated in heian period at the beginning of 10 century. It was formed on the basis of Japanese folk, and was influenced by the legendary literature of China Six Dynasties and Sui and Tang Dynasties.

Before the Tale of Genji, story literature was divided into two schools. The first is to create pure fictional legends such as the story of martial arts and the story of Luo Wa. One is the story of songs, such as the story of Yi Shi and the story of Yamato. It is mainly composed of chorus, which mostly belongs to objective narrative or historical narrative.

These stories are born out of fairy tales and folklore, and they are a literary form of transition to independent stories. Its disadvantage is the lack of internal unity and artistic integrity.
