A few days ago, I participated in an online reading sharing meeting and spent 2 hours with 16 book friends that were both poetic and mind-expanding.
First of all, the self-introduction at the beginning is amazing: use ancient poetry to introduce yourself!
For this reason, I went to Baidu specifically. After selection, I introduced myself with the opening line "Let the wind blow from east to west, north and south, and it will still turn into blue waves".
"Let the east, west, north, and south wind" come from Zheng Banqiao's "Bamboo and Stone": He insists on the green mountains and does not let go, and his roots are in the broken rocks. It has endured thousands of blows but is still strong, regardless of the winds from east to west, north and south.
And "Sprinkle it and it will still turn into blue waves" comes from "Wine Drinking" by Qiu Jin, the heroine of Jianhu Lake: Even if you spend a lot of money to buy a sword, you can even exchange mink fur for wine. Cherish it with passion and diligence, and it will still turn into blue waves if you spill it.
These two are my favorite poets.
Zheng Banqiao is remembered by the world for his famous saying "It is rare to be confused". This is his way of being an official and his life path, and the poem "Bamboo and Stone" vividly reflects it. His tenacity.
Qiu Jin, also known as Jianhu Heroine, is an advocate of Chinese women’s rights and women’s studies. She is a female martyr who sacrificed her life to overthrow thousands of years of feudal rule. She made great contributions to the Revolution of 1911. Contribution, the poem "Wine" prominently embodies Qiu Jin's heroic spirit and fearless spirit of sacrifice for the revolution.
The most exciting thing is the sharing from each book friend. Some talk eloquently, filled with the passion of youth; some talk about the pros and cons of success and failure; Some are rational and rigorous, full of games of logic and methods; some are affectionate, leaving a taste of family affection and appreciation...
What I share with you is a nutrition and health book-- "Lost Nutrition? Stay Away from Disease", the author is Dr. Wang Tao, a doctor majoring in integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine. He went to the University of Tokyo in Japan to conduct lung cancer research for two years.
Dr. Wang Tao advocated and established a new and distinctive theoretical system - nutritional medicine. This book explains the concepts, viewpoints, real cases and methodology of nutritional medicine.
I have read this book carefully no less than four times, and have taken several notes. I have used various methods such as listening and reading, comparative reading, excerpting of classic quotations, and Jiugongge reading. Had a reading.
I will focus on sharing with you the three most important theories and perspectives in this book.
1. The human body has the function of self-repair.
Dr. Wang Tao believes that the human body’s self-healing ability is the real “doctor” of all diseases. Doctors in the traditional sense treat diseases and eliminate bacteria, viruses and harmful cells in the human body, rather than protecting them. Human health. Therefore, we cannot entrust our health to doctors, nor can we completely leave our health to doctors. We must keep our health firmly in our own hands.
2. As long as there are enough nutrients, the body can repair and cure any disease by itself.
The human body has six major nutrients: water, protein, lipids, sugars, vitamins, and minerals. Dr. Wang Tao gave a very vivid example, comparing nutrients to building materials (cement, steel bars, sand, stones, etc.), and the body is a building (human body). If the building has holes (damage), as long as there are enough of building materials (nutrients), it can be repaired.
3. Nutritional medicine is a new direction of future medical development and a combination of medicine and nutrition.
In the book, Dr. Wang Tao gave very high evaluations to the "Tao Te Ching" and the Huangdi Nei Jing, believing that they are discussed from the perspective of "Tao", and the biggest difference between traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine is The difference lies in the difference between Tao and art. Dr. Wang Tao strongly agrees with the view of "harmony between man and nature" in the "Huangdi Neijing" and believes that nutritional medicine follows the laws of nature and is in line with the requirements of Tao.
What an unforgettable and wonderful night!
