Bing Xin's resume:
Bing Xin (October 5, 19-February 1999), formerly known as Xie Wanying. Originally from Changle, Fujian, he was born in Fuzhou. I spent my childhood in Yantai, Shandong. The whole family moved to Beijing in 1913. When the May 4th Movement broke out, she was greatly influenced. Since September, 1919, she has written many problem novels under the pseudonym of Bing Xin, such as Two Families, while you are alone and helpless and poor, Autumn Rain, Murder, Going to the Country, etc., which aroused strong repercussions in the society. In 1921, he joined the Literature Research Association. At this time, his works mostly described the "philosophy of love" around maternal love, childlike innocence and natural beauty, including Superman and Boredom. Beginning in 192, influenced by Tagore's Birds, he wrote short poems "Stars" and "Spring Water", which attracted the attention of literary circles. In August, 1923, she went to the research institute of Wellesley Women's University in the United States, and was hospitalized for seven months due to illness. The representative works of this period include Wu and To Young Readers. She returned to China with a master's degree in literature in 1926 and taught in yenching university, Tsinghua University and Peiping Women's College of Arts and Sciences. In 1931, the novel Fen, and in 1934, The Girl in Dong Er all showed the deepening and breakthrough of the "philosophy of love". In 1946, she went to Japan with her husband Wu Wenzao and was invited to teach at the University of Tokyo. Returning to China in the autumn of l951. Since liberation, he has published essays, novels, poems and songs, such as Little Orange Lantern, Praise of Cherry Blossoms, Re-sending to Young Readers, etc. Since 1954, he has been elected as a deputy to the National People's Congress and served as the vice chairman of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. He is now a member of the Standing Committee of the Fifth Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. In addition to writing, Bing Xin has also translated some foreign literary works.
