The full name of the Heart Sutra is Prajna Paramita Heart Sutra. This shore is bitter, and the other shore is joy. The so-called Prajna Paramita means that wisdom reaches the other shore, which means getting happiness from suffering.
There are seven Chinese versions of Heart Sutra, among which Tang Xuanzang's version is the most popular. Its core idea is to observe the self-nature and emptiness of all things in the universe, so that practitioners can enter an ideal spiritual realm that is immortal, immortal, undiminished, unclean and the objective world no longer exists. Once you reach this state, you can get rid of all the hardships.
2. Amitabha Sutra
There are two versions of this passage, and Kumarajiva's version is the most widely used one. This classic book has a magnificent imagination, which vividly describes the wonderful situation of Amitabha's paradise "no suffering, all kinds of music". Later, Amitabha sutra became the main classic of Pure Land Sect.
3. Diamond Sutra
The full name of the Diamond Sutra is the King Kong Prajna Paramita Sutra. It compares the wisdom of the Buddha to the indestructible King Kong, which can get rid of all troubles, compare the unchangeable universal wisdom and purify the noumenon.
The core of this passage is to teach us that we have nothing to do with things, that is, we have nothing to give, "we should live without shelter." After the five ancestors began to pay attention to it, it was carried forward by the six ancestors. After Huineng became the sixth ancestor, he strongly advocated learning the Diamond Sutra, arguing that there should be no words, but a clear mind, that is, the heart is the Buddha. Later, the Diamond Sutra became the main classic of Zen Buddhism.
4. Lengga Sutra
The full name of Shurangama Sutra is the Amitabha Sutra of Shurangama, and there are three existing versions. Lengga is the name of a mountain in the south of the lion kingdom, because this volume of scriptures is the dharma that Sakyamuni said to his disciples in Lengga Mountain, hence the name.
This sutra holds that everything in the universe is caused by false and unreal self-mind, and encourages practitioners to pursue spiritually and enter an immortal nirvana state. The spread of Shurangama Sutra in China benefited from Dharma's teaching to Hui Ke, and later became the main classics of Zen Buddhism, Faxiang Buddhism and Faxing Buddhism in China.
5.shurangama sutra
The author of Shurangama Sutra is said to have been translated by Shi Huaidi and an unknown monk in the Tang Dynasty. Leng Yan means that everything is consolidated. This book expounds the essence of the mind and belongs to the secret department of Mahayana Buddha. Because the classics are mixed with deification and preaching, and seven elements, such as earth, water, wind, fire, thunder, sight and knowledge, are marked, future generations are very skeptical about the authenticity of this scripture.
