Couplets inscribed by Wang Xizhi. Loyalty and filial piety are the best standards of progress and ambition. It shows that the ideal of remoulding oneself with cultural knowledge, remoulding nature, being loyal to the country and supporting the family with filial piety originated from the couplet of Wang Xizhi, a famous calligrapher in Linyi, Jin Dynasty, and his son Wang Xianzhi, who were also called "two kings", which had a great influence on later calligraphy.
