Kangxi went to see Xing Chi, a monk's father, and asked what he had to say to him. Xing Chi said, "The son of heaven is the son of heaven, and heaven is not high. In the lower place, public opinion is God's will."
Empress Xiao Zhuang's words are domineering, and when she becomes a monk, she is merciful. Because she is not confident enough, she needs domineering support, and because she sees through the world, she can be merciful to all beings. In comparison, the realm of sons is higher than that of mothers.
2. Life is a practice. Every day you are alive, everyone you meet and everything you encounter is an opportunity to practice. Cut off obstacles, make them bright, eliminate hostility, and return to neutrality. In a word, in practice, you should grind your rough stone into a gentle jade, endure (the reality that cannot be changed at present) and restrain (Necker's desire).
3. The so-called practice is nothing more than competing with yourself and finally living yourself. Yin Hao said, "I've been dealing with me for a long time, so I'd rather be me." So living is practicing, because my struggle with me is the root of all contradictions, and there will be progress if there are contradictions. I am the source of the problem and the foundation of the solution. Getting up early to study is a practice, insisting on running is a practice, eating seriously is a practice, watching mobile phones sparingly is a practice, focusing on accompanying children is a practice, practicing calligraphy devoutly is a practice, and teaching with love and wisdom is a practice ... Living is a practice, and attitude determines the degree of practice. If you take everything seriously, everyone and every day, and do what you should do with your heart, then practice is when you achieve it. The essence of my relationship with others and the world is also my relationship with me. It is even difficult for me to be myself in my struggle. In the war, the enemy and I are clearly opposed, but I and I are unified in me, so Wang Yangming said: "It is easy to break a thief in the mountain, but it is difficult to break a thief in the heart." Being yourself is a silent but significant practice. Being yourself will affect others and change the world invisibly. In essence, however, what we change is only ourselves.
4. The point of penetration is alive, but you can't hold it in your heart; Good at it, willing to let go. Scanning outward and breaking inward, the Heart Sutra and the Diamond Sutra are clearly understood. Looking at the outside world, the Heart Sutra says, "All the five elements are empty", and the Diamond Sutra says, "Everything is like a dream bubble, like dew, like electricity, so we should look at it this way." The Heart Sutra says: "The heart is not in the way." "The Diamond Sutra" says: "You should live with nothing to live in." It is more difficult to see through difficulties, to let go, and to be comfortable. However, because it is difficult, practice is meaningful.
