One of the things that impressed me most about the Queen of England was that in 1986, Elizabeth II, as the first British head of state to visit China, visited Beijing, Shanghai and other cities and returned a pair of gilded lions. The gilded lion was snatched by Eight-Nation Alliance. At the welcome banquet that followed, Mr. Li Xiannian spoke highly of Elizabeth II's visit to China, calling it "an important milestone in the history of Sino-British relations". This friendly attitude towards China and China's attitude of returning the gift to her should be learned by our two nationals.
The Queen of England symbolizes national unity, and her good conduct is a model of personal behavior for all British people. Even in the annual Christmas radio address, citizens are encouraged to help each other and unite with each other. A dignified, meticulous and serious attitude deserves respect.
