It was Zhou Cang who wrote Shanxi Tongzhi. He is called the general and Ping Lu. First, Zhang Yi met Guan Yu in Woniu Mountain and followed him. Battle of Fancheng, take Pound alive. Zhou Cang died when he defeated Maicheng.
In Yuan Zaju "Single Knife Meeting", Zhou Cang is very powerful. Before going to meet Guan Yu, he sang, "Zhou Cang is a hero today. Everyone bows and throws a crossbow, each wearing a robe and a flag, and the brave man is courageous. " At this time, Zhou Cang's image has taken shape.
The story of Romance of the Three Kingdoms is also written in Zhou Cang. But Shanxi Tongzhi and Romance of the Three Kingdoms all say that Zhou Cang died in the Battle of Maicheng. In Pinghua, Zhou Cang didn't appear before, but he did.
Then there was Zhou Cang when Zhuge Liang came out of Qishan. Zhou Cang used wooden cows to transport grain. Sima Yi has hundreds of horses made by imitating the captured wooden cattle and horses, and he can only walk a few steps with a wooden pestle. He wondered, Zhuge Liang's wooden ox is flowing, and 300 steps are feasible. Why can't I hit it? A few days later, Zhou Cang accepted the challenge. But Sima Yi got Zhou Cang drunk and asked him what Zhuge Liang's trick was. You tell me that I will give you rich gold, silver and jewels to make your family rich. Zhou Cang said with a smile, of course, there are tricks. The strategist is full of horses and horses, and those who hold the pestle all read the horses and cows flowing through. He said, these people are in my charge. Tonight, I will go back to the village and write the Liu Ma Sutra of Cattle Pasturing for you. Sima Yi was overjoyed and gave Zhou Cang thirty golden balls and two good horses. And said there would be a reward for writing it. Three days later, Sima Yi sent someone to pick him up, and Zhou Cang had already left, leaving only a personal letter from Zhuge Liang, which said that since ancient times, no five people could make a fool of themselves. You are a famous Wei, so you'd better learn from me. Is this not a joke? Sima Yi was so angry that she tore the letter to pieces.
This is obviously an idealized legend. People don't want their beloved hero to die prematurely, so they imagine that he is not only alive, but also plays a treacherous and cunning Sima Yi heartily. It is also very simple to write Zhou Cang in The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, probably because he is only a foil figure after all. But among the people, there are more legends about Zhou Cang than romance. Generally speaking, he is strong, brave, simple, honest and lovely. Zhou Cang's Pinghua Sima is an example. In addition, it is said that Guan Yu compared his strength with him when he received him. Guan Yu took a straw and told him to throw it. Zhou Cang threw it with all his might only a few feet away. Guan Yu lifted a bundle of straw and threw it more than ten feet away effortlessly. Guan Yu also told him to kill the ants on the ground, and Zhou Cang reached out with an iron fist and struck three times.
Boxing, ants are still moving. Guan Yu held out his little finger and pressed it gently, and the ant died. Guan Yu asked him to pinch eggs again. Zhou Cang held the egg in his palm, but he couldn't break it with all his strength. Guan Yu only used two fingers, and when he pinched the egg, it broke. Zhou Cang was surrendered by Guan Yu because he admired Guan Yu's divine power.
It is also said that Zhou Cang has three hairs on his arch, traveling thousands of miles in the day and eight hundred miles in the night, catching up with Guan Yu's red hare, which is a veritable scud. Lv Meng bribed Zhou Cang's hometown, got him drunk and scraped his feet. Zhou Cang couldn't run fast, and Guan Yu returned to Jingzhou from Maicheng. Just because Zhou Cang didn't keep up with the knife, Lv Meng caught him and killed him.
Until later. People are still creating stories about Zhou Cang. For example, Suzhou explained that Zhou Cang was king in Woniu Mountain. One day, an old monk instructed him to vote for Guan Yu and left him a portrait of Guan Yu. He looks at it every day and thinks about it every day. Just as Guan Yu passed the five customs and cut six generals, he escorted his second sister-in-law across Woniu Mountain. As he walked, a team of strongmen rushed out, led by a dark-faced little man with a curly beard and two hammers hanging around his waist-it was Zhou Cang. He took a fancy to the BMW under Guan Yu's seat, because Guan Yu in the portrait didn't ride a horse. He wanted to lead a good horse for his future owner, but he couldn't recognize the red-faced Guan Yu he asked about every day. When the two men met with a knife and hammer, they saw Zhou Cang wielding a hammer as light as a swallow, like a mass of black wind whirling in all directions. Guan Yu could only parry but could not strike back. Later, after some cross-examination, I realized that he was Zhou Cang. The owner I was looking for was Wen Jiu who chopped Hua Xiong. Later, he chopped Guan Yunchang and Yan Liang in Wen Chou and robbed BMW just to give it to Guan Yunchang. Guan Yu almost laughed out loud, so he showed Zhou Cang who he was. Zhou Cang looked left and right, carefully comparing the portraits. He thinks all silkworms look like eyebrows and phoenix eyes, but their beards are shorter. It turned out that Guan Yu wrapped the pod whiskers in gauze. When Guan Yu removed his beard and showed his long beard, Cang came out at a glance.
Zhou Cang in this story is naive and much more vivid than Zhou Cang in The Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
There is also a story about the war between Zhou Cang and Zhao Zilong in The Romance of Suzhou Three Kingdoms. After Gu Chenghui, Zhou Cang was ordered to return to Woniu Mountain to woo the aborigines. Unexpectedly, Pei Wu on the mountain was selected by Zhao Zilong who pretended to be a horse dealer looking for Liu Bei. Zhou Cang avenged Pei and had a big fight with him. Zhou Cang's dancing double hammer is like a storm, getting tighter and tighter. At first, Zhao Zilong was only defeated by Parry. But Jing Zhaoyun pondered Zhou Cang's hammer method while playing, and found that he seemed to disrupt the knocking, but in fact he had his own way, only one chance to strike back.
Seeing this opportunity, Zhaoyun shot Zhou Cang in the leg. Zhou Cang grabbed the wound of eucalyptus soil, jumped up and hit it. Zhao Zilong still fired again, but Zhou Cang refused to accept it. He hit, shot and stabbed three times, but Zhou Cang still refused. Later, he learned that this general with a white face is the famous Zhao Zilong.
This story, or write Zhou Cang silly and straightforward. This is of course the author's fiction, but Zhou Cang's character is very touching.
