The nucleus is the main component of the atom, located in the center of the atom, accounting for about 99.95% of the atomic mass. The nuclear density is extremely high, and the nuclear density is about 10 14g/cm 3. The nucleus consists of uncharged neutrons and positively charged protons (two kinds of baryons consist of three quarks). When there are the same number of electrons around as protons, atoms are formed. The nucleus is very small, for example, the atomic radius/nucleus radius ratio of uranium is 26634, while that of hydrogen is 60250. But in this tiny nucleus, the mass of 99.95% atoms is concentrated.

? There are π mesons in the nucleus shuttling back and forth between protons and neutrons (transferring strong nuclear forces). After neutrons release π mesons into protons, protons quickly release π+mesons back to neutrons. Protons and neutrons in the nucleus shuttle back and forth through π mesons, and mutual transformation is the way of strong nuclear force (see the figure below).
