One day he saw that most of the peaches in the old tree were ripe, so he ate all the big peaches in the garden. The Queen Mother held a peach party, and after hearing about it, Wukong went to Yaochi, drank all the fairy wine, and ate all the golden elixirs in Taishang Laojun's gourd. After escaping back to Huaguo Mountain, the Jade Emperor heard about it and ordered King Tota to lead his heavenly soldiers to capture Sun Wukong. Wukong fights off the gods.
Mucha, a disciple of Guanyin in the South China Sea, helped the four heavenly kings but was defeated. Guanyin also recommended Erlang Shen. 1. Sun Wukong
Sun Wukong is also known as Sun Walker and Wukong. The demons in the mountain respected him as the Monkey King, and the Jade Emperor named him the "Great Sage Equaling Heaven". There is a fairy stone on the top of the Huaguo Mountain. It has absorbed the essence of the innocent earth, the sun and the moon for a long time, and one day a stone monkey jumped out of it.
He discovered the Water Curtain Cave on Huaguo Mountain, and was revered as king by the monkeys, so he was called the "Monkey King". He was accepted as a disciple by Patriarch Bodhi, acquired high-strength skills, and even broke into the Dragon Palace of the East China Sea and snatched the "Ruyi Golden Cudgel" as his weapon.
Afterwards, he held a golden cudgel and proclaimed himself the "Monkey King", causing havoc in the heavenly palace and beating hundreds of thousands of heavenly soldiers and generals to pieces. The Jade Emperor invited Tathagata Buddha from the West to rescue him, and Tathagata cast a spell to suppress Wukong under the Five Elements Mountain.
Five hundred years later, Guanyin Bodhisattva will realize the enlightenment of Buddhism and ask Tang Sanzang, an eminent monk of the Tang Dynasty who went to Tathagata in the West to obtain Buddhist scriptures, to rescue him. Wukong became Tang Seng's great disciple.
Along the way, he and his junior brothers Zhu Bajie and Monk Sha protected their master and traveled across mountains and rivers, subduing all kinds of demons and monsters such as the White Bone Demon, the Spider Demon, and the Bull Demon King. They overcame ninety-nine and eighty-one difficulties, and finally succeeded in obtaining the true scripture. , the cultivation has achieved positive results. He himself was named the "Victorious Fighting Buddha" by the Tathagata.
2. Erlang Shen
Also known as Erlang Xiansheng Zhenjun, Guankou Erlang, Erlang Zhenjun, Guankou God, Akagi King, Zhaohui Xiansheng Renyou King, Qingyuan Miaodaozhen Jun, etc. are gods and figures in folk beliefs and Taoism.
Folks mostly believe that he is a god related to water conservancy, farming, and preventing floods, or even a water god. Before the Qing Dynasty, he was worshiped as the god of drama, the god of hunting, the god of Cuju, the god of thunder, Dionysus etc.
