What to pick up in the first grade of junior high school and what to pick up in the second grade of junior high school?

On the first day of the Lunar New Year, we take back the God of Wealth, and on the second day of the Lunar New Year, we will sacrifice to the God of Wealth.

When you wake up in the morning, you must first offer sacrifices to the God of Wealth, burn incense, offer various tributes, and say some auspicious words.

In the south, tributes to the God of Wealth are very particular. There are three tables in a house. The first table is for fruits, among which oranges represent broad business. The second table is for cakes, among which rice cakes represent yearly promotions. The main table is at the third table, which is full of whole chicken, whole duck, and whole fish, which means to attract wealth. The host lights incense and candles, and everyone worships and prays for good fortune in the new year. In some places, firecrackers are set off, gold ingots are placed, and red candles are lit on the fifth day of the Lunar New Year. It is said that this day is the birthday of the God of Wealth. There are activities to worship the God of Wealth almost all over the country, which shows how important the God of Wealth is in people's hearts.

But which God of Wealth is enshrined in such a grand ceremony? In our traditional culture, the God of Wealth is divided into civil and military Gods of Wealth. Let’s take a look at this Wealth God first. In the New Year paintings circulated among the people, there is a God of Wealth with a serious expression. It is said that this God of Wealth is Bigan, the great loyal minister of the Shang Dynasty. Later, his heart was ripped out by the foolish and unscrupulous King Zhou. Since ancient times, people have longed for fair transactions. Because Bigan has no heart, he also has no vision, so he is given the meaning of a gentleman who does things fairly and has enough money, and is respected by people.

Another God of Wealth and Wealth is Fan Li, an outstanding thinker, politician, and strategist during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. He was also a big businessman who made money in a wise manner. Later generations respectfully called him the "Shang Sage." In addition to helping King Gou Jian of Yue to restore his country, Fan Li also had a sentimental love story with Xi Shi that was praised by future generations. He also left a famous saying: "When the tall birds are gone, the good bows will be hidden; when the cunning rabbits are gone, the good dogs will be cooked." This is how "the birds are gone and the bows are hidden, the rabbits are dead and the dogs are cooked." Later, it is said that Fan Li went to Qi State, changed his surname to "Tao", and abandoned his official position to engage in business. He made money wisely and dispersed it. Every time he made a fortune, he distributed the money to the poor. He was called "Tao Zhugong".

After talking about Wen Caishen, let’s talk about Wu Caishen. The first one is Zhao Gongming. Legend has it that he and Zhong Kui are fellow villagers and first appeared in "Sou Shen Ji". The Yuan Dynasty's "Sou Shen Daquan" records that Zhao Gongming has endless changes and can call for wind and rain, save lives and resolve disasters. He has a black face and a beard, holding an iron whip in his hand, with a tiger astride his body, and his face is ferocious. Whenever you want to make money in business, just pray to Zhao Gongming and you will get everything you want, so he is called the God of Wealth.

Another Wu Caishen is the well-known Guan Yu. He had never been famous before the Tang Dynasty. It was not until the Song Dynasty that Zhezong of the Song Dynasty named him the "Xianlie King" and Huizong of the Song Dynasty named him the "Yiyong Wu'an King", so there were many Guan Yu temples. Since Luo Guanzhong's "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms" came out, Guan Yu has become famous. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, Guan Yu changed from "king" to "emperor", and even Yue Fei, a famous anti-Jin general, became a marshal under his rule. In the Qing Dynasty, it became even more powerful. The "martial sage" and the "literary sage" Confucius were equal. Guan Yu was brave and invincible throughout his life. Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism all respected him. The common people even worshiped Mr. Guan and prayed for blessings. The key is that Mr. Guan is omnipotent, he can protect all aspects of business, and his position as the God of Wealth is naturally secure.
