The spirit of sacrifice is sometimes worth learning. Captain Nemo did not forget to help these people when he was terminally ill. He sailed alone to Tabu Island thousands of miles away, but the ship he sailed was the most common one that could not stand the wind and waves. His sailing time was when he encountered wind and waves in the Pacific Ocean. After he went to the island, he left a note in his house on the island. The newspaper said, "This island is already on another island."
Commitment is the foundation of one's life. When the volcano erupted and these victims were killed again, Captain Grant's children came to pick up the once unforgivable Elton. 13 years ago, when the captain felt that Elton had atoned, they agreed to take him back. After the captain went to Tabu Island and saw the note, the victims came when they were almost desperate. They fulfilled their original promise.
This is my harvest from reading this book. What a person must have: the spirit of unity, the spirit of sacrifice, and keeping promises.
