The four words "Dazhong Zhizheng" also contain the meaning of Jiang Zhongzheng's name. It turned out to be a concept taken from Neo-Confucianism. Zhou Dunyi's "Tai Chi Tu Shuo" said: "The sage determines the principle of benevolence and righteousness (self-note: the way of the sage, benevolence and righteousness is the only thing that is right), and the main thing is tranquility (self-note: there is no desire, so be quiet), which establishes people extremely." Zhang Zai's "Zheng Zheng" Meng 6.4 Zhongzheng Pian" said: "Zhongzheng then leads to the way of the world. The reason why this gentleman is great and upright is. If you achieve uprightness, you can stop it, and if you stop it, you can spread it and become great." He also said: "Scholar If you stand in the middle, you will have benevolence to promote it. "Shao Yong's "Huangji Jingshi Shu": "The greatest is called the emperor, the most middle is called the extreme, the most righteous is called the classic, and the most change is called the world." See the relevant explanation. "The Greatest Righteousness" and "The Way of Righteousness" are the highest moral standards and concepts pursued by Confucianism. "Zhong" and "Zhongzheng" refer to the "moderate" and "middle way" advocated by Confucianism. Sometimes they are also called "zhonghe", which means impartiality and no fault. Song Confucianism refers to "reason" and "natural principle". Zhongzheng or the golden mean (see Zhu Xi's "Zhongyong Chapter") actually takes Confucian ethics as the highest goal of moral cultivation.
