The relationship between literature and politics in the twenty-seven years after the founding of the People's Republic of China
1976 was the year when the Cultural Revolution ended, and literature took a great turn. Influenced by the Cultural Revolution in the early stage, literature mostly praised the party blindly, which made people panic, and no one dared to write anything insightful. After the Cultural Revolution, it was different, ideological control was no longer so strict, and the literary atmosphere was much more active.
