Qiu Jin (1875- 1907), a modern democratic revolutionary, was originally named Qiu Guijin, Xuanqing and Yugu. After dongdu, she changed her name to Jin, Ming, and called herself "Jianhu Girl" with a pen name. She used to use the pen name Bai Ping, whose ancestral home was in Zhejiang.
