Li Dazhao's main articles published in Weekly Review include 54 articles such as New Era, Class Competition and Mutual Assistance, Abolition of Prostitution, Dangerous Thoughts and Freedom of Speech, and Labor Education. On January 5, 1919, Li Dazhao's "New Era" was published in Weekly Review No.3. The article points out that the First World War and the Russian Revolution "washed out a new era". He elaborated here: "This new era is a new era of world revolution and a new era of human awakening. Our dark China and dead Beijing seem to share a ray of light, just like getting a little star in the middle of the night to see the road of a new life.
