Meaning: people always die, but the meaning of death is different, and some are heavier than Mount Tai (dying for the people); Some are lighter than geese's feathers, ie die for exploiting and oppressing the people.
The original text is from Shi Ji Bao Ren Shao Qingshu written by Sima Qian in the Western Han Dynasty.
It is the result of self-establishment. People are inherently mortal, either heavier than Mount Tai or lighter than a feather.
This is my career and position, which makes people think so. Everyone has to die, but some people die heavier than Mount Tai and some people die lighter than a feather. This is because what they pursue for survival is different!
