Mao Daizong (1955.3-), formerly known as Mao Zhezong, also signed as Dai Zong, with the courtesy name Yanda, nicknames Zhezhi and Hongxuan, and his church name is unknown. He lived in Ye County, Shandong Province (today's Laizhou City, Shandong Province) people. In 1973, he was admitted to the Fine Arts Department of Shandong Art School. After graduating in 1976, he stayed at the school to teach. In 1978, he entered the Art Department of Qufu Normal University. After graduating in 1982, he stayed at the school to teach and served successively as deputy director and lecturer of the Art Department. He is currently the dean of the School of Fine Arts of Shandong University of the Arts, a member of the Chinese Artists Association, and a director of the Shandong Branch of the Artists Association. Good at oil painting. Other works include "Farmhouse", "White Night", etc.
