How did "writing on the bus" come from?
During the Reform Movement of 1898, the signing of "treaty of shimonoseki" and the crisis of the partition of China by foreign powers greatly shook all classes and promoted the awakening of China people's patriotic consciousness. As soon as the conditions for peace came out, the whole country strongly opposed it, and senior officials played one after another, accusing Li Hongzhang of flattering the enemy and making mistakes in the country and demanding that the treaty be refused. At that time, there was a gathering of people from all provinces in Beijing. Kang Youwei drafted a letter to the emperor, proposing "refusing peace, moving the capital, training troops and reforming the law", and signed it 1300, which set off a huge anti-surrender movement. This is the famous "words on the bus". People in Taiwan Province Province were even more indignant when they heard the news of the separatist regime in Taiwan Province Province, and vowed not to be conquered people. When the Japanese army landed in Taiwan Province Province, the soldiers and civilians in Taiwan Province Province fought fiercely, and fought to the death with the superior Japanese army under the condition of being alone overseas and lacking equipment.
