How to sign a PDF document on an Apple phone?

Preview in Apple is a very useful software that comes with it. For example, you can use it to preview the contents of many file images without using corresponding editing software to open the file or Images, I really like using this feature. In the new operating system Lion, the functions of Preview have been further enhanced, and a very useful function has been added: adding signatures to PDF files. This article introduces and explains how to use this new feature. Because the Apple I use is set to English, I mainly use English to explain menus, tools, and windows. On Apple, it is easy to convert the system to Chinese, and the corresponding menus, tools, and windows can be found one-to-one.

Create a signature

First open Preview, then select Preview->Preference from the menu... In the preferences, select Signature, that is, signature.

The first time you use it, the signature area is blank. Click Create Signature...

A window will open. This window can use Apple's own camera to capture images. You can write your signature on a piece of white paper, point the camera, and adjust the distance. There is a blue line in the preview on the left. This line can be used as a reference for aligning your signature. After staying for a while, your signature will appear on the right. If you are satisfied with the result, click Accept to accept the signature.

Signature encryption

The first time you use the signature function, Apple will ask you to enter a password for signing. This password needs to be verified when you use signature, which can prevent Someone else uses your signature on your computer.

This password is the password for Keychain Access (Keychain for short, Chinese is Keychain Access or Keychain) on your Apple. The following is the window that requires a password:

When Apple added such a very convenient feature, it also considered the security of use. Preview signatures are managed through another very powerful and convenient security software in Apple's operating system: Keychain. Apple's security is very strong. This random free software provides users with tools to manage items related to login, passwords, personal privacy notes, etc. This software is related to the users currently logged in to Apple (for example, I have hidden mine in the picture above. Username), a password can very well manage many privacy functions or projects, and it is managed in the most secure way at present. This keychain is equivalent to the keys to our car, home and safe. No one except the user himself It can break the secret, even Apple can't do it. Signatures are personal privacy content, so it is very safe to use Keychain to manage them.

What can be said about Keychain can be said to be another big topic, so I won’t say more here.

Using signatures

It is very simple to use. Click the stroke-like tool button, then the signature button, and you will see the signatures that can be used. The first time you enter Preview, you need to enter your password to see your signature.

After selecting your signature, insert your signature by dragging a space in a blank space of the PDF (it can be anywhere). Here is my example:

The door-to-door signature can be enlarged or reduced, and its position can also be moved. The following is the signature after confirmation:

Fun signature: image signature

You can add various signatures. Interestingly, I found that taking a signature with a camera can also take a profile picture, but you need to be patient because the profile picture is an image rather than an obvious black line.

Below is the signature of the avatar I selected in Preview:
