Bootable backup
When disaster strikes your hard disk, you can start from backup and continue to work. Have free time to solve the problem disk problem.
Intelligent update
Update only files that have been added or modified.
Boot setting
CCC can guide you through the installation process.
Back up everywhere
Create a backup on an external drive or back up files to another Macintosh.
Family license
The license allows you to run CCC on every Mac in your home.
Replication of Mac highlights
Task grouping and sequencing
Group your tasks to organize them intuitively. You can run a set of tasks with one click, or schedule a set of tasks at a time. Tasks can also be sorted by name, exit status, last run date, next run date or manually.
Backup notification
In addition to letting you publish information through the macOS notification center, CCC can also send you the results of backup tasks by email. This is not a simple task-just configure your email account settings once and use it in multiple tasks.
Task plan
CCC can back up data every hour, every day, every week, every month or whenever it is connected to the backup drive. You can only tell CCC to make backups on weekdays, weekends or at certain times of the day. You can also use task chains and scheduled task groups to create more complex backup strategies.
A smarter safety net
Create a bootable disk clone, but also keep copies of recently deleted and changed files-just in case. SafetyNet is smarter than ever: CCC can automatically release space and resume backup if there is insufficient space during backup.
Mission history
Quickly see when your task runs and whether it is successful. Restrict the list by task name, source volume, target volume, or run date. Receive detailed information and suggestions about the task that caused the error.
Disk center
Learn more about the volume quickly or create a recovery hard disk, while easily viewing all tasks involving the selected disk and the last running time of each task.
Menu bar application
Pay close attention to the currently running backup tasks, and create new tasks or run scheduled tasks.
Clone recovery HD
MacOS setup will create a dedicated recovery volume on your startup disk that can be used to reinstall macOS. CCC is the only backup software that can archive and clone this recovery volume. We simplified this complicated process with just one click!
Advanced file filtering
For CCC, it has always been simple to exclude one or two folders from the backup task, and now it is easier to accurately define which ones should be backed up and which ones should not. You can also see the effect of custom filtering rules now, and CCC will now report how much data to back up. The Quick View panel displays a preview of the files, and you can sort the file list by name, size or modification date.
Simplified remote Mac setup
The setup process of backing up to a remote Macintosh has been greatly simplified. SafetyNet pruning is now available for remote Mac targets, and CCC can now show you the contents of remote Mac sources. Remote Mac backup has never been easier!
Historical trend of mission
Our new trend chart shows how your tasks have changed over time and how many files/data will be copied each time you run the task.
Backup health check
Are you worried that your backup will fail when you need it? CCC has covered you. CCC can run special damage checks monthly or weekly to identify damaged files in backup and automatically replace them.
Replicator of Mac update log
Added a timeout mechanism for volume unmount requests. The DiskArbitration service should never fail to reply to uninstall requests, but we have seen these events frequently recently.
Some other adjustments have been made to the conversion from HFS+ to APFS, which should make it more powerful.
Resolved the following problem: If the source or destination is a folder on a data volume in the APFS volume group, the reconnection task will not run when the source or destination is reconnected.
Now, CCC will disable Spotlight on the target by default when making bootable backups of macOS Catalina system volumes.
Now, the "task completed with errors" email topic starts with the "warning" emoji, so it can be more easily distinguished from non-error tasks.
Fixed a logical problem that caused the selected task group not to be marked as selected in the view menu. Fixed a similar problem that caused the Run Now menu option in the file menu of the task group to be disabled.
Fixed some dead corners in CCC command line utility, which would be encountered when CCC assistant tool was not installed or the task was not saved.
Fixed localization issues related to thousands of grouping separators used in numbers displayed in various windows, including the task history window.
The error that unsigned plug-ins can't be loaded caused by disk utility on remote Mac will no longer cause CCC to be unable to generate a volume list when configuring backup tasks to or from remote Mac.
Solve the problem that some pre-flight and post-flight scripts can't run because of the lack of interpreter lines.
When the encrypted volume is started from T2 Mac, Disk Utility cannot create the APFS volume group, which adds more specific processing.
Fixed several user interface size and position anomalies.
When the APFS volume group is selected as the source, the accuracy of the total data size value reported in the task filter window is improved.
Fixed the problem that the value of Total Data Size reported in the Task History window was incorrect (too low) when there were very few changes in the dataset.
If "OneDrive" appears anywhere in the folder path, CCC will no longer add the file "About this folder.rtf" to the SafetyNet folder. This should avoid complaints caused by OneDrive because its 1980 style can't handle files whose names start with space characters.
