If you want to ask me how I feel about this year's Beijing Auto Show in general? I think, in addition to the reserved program signed by the media on the day of running, there is another company that left a very deep impression on me, and that is Huawei.
Nowadays, cars are more and more like a big toy wrapped in black technology, especially after the trend of automobile intelligence is further enlarged, cutting-edge technologies are hotly discussed. As the "only three" suppliers in the main exhibition area of this auto show, the popularity of booths of Huawei, Bosch and Horizon soared. Among them, Huawei's booth is almost always crowded with people, attracting the attention of many car companies, media and audiences. Even several major automobile groups can't compare with this spectacle.
As the world's leading ICT? (Information and communication) infrastructure and intelligent terminal providers have a high awareness of their own "Huawei" logo. Since Huawei began to expand its auto business, its business scope has increased the research and development of auto parts and intelligent systems, and its determination to "help auto companies build good cars" has changed from goal to practice. As a supplier of auto parts, Huawei has more and more layouts.
However, for users outside the automobile industry, it is relatively new to see Huawei at the auto show. In fact, at the Shanghai Auto Show in 20 19, Huawei once occupied the C position, but at that time, Huawei did not have any practical solutions related to automobiles, and it was more for brand promotion.
This Beijing Auto Show is different. Huawei's layout of the automobile industry is clearer. Most of the previous plans have achieved initial results. This time, more heavy products in the field of intelligent electric power were displayed, including electric drive system, car charger, battery management system and DC fast charging module.
In just one year, the concept can land, and I have to say that this speed is really Huawei.
DriveONE makes people shine.
As one of the heavy products of this auto show, Huawei's all-electric drive system DriveONE is eye-catching. According to Huawei booth technicians, this is the first hyper-converged power supply solution in the industry. The system not only realizes the deep integration of mechanical components and power components, but also brings intelligence into the electric drive system through the high integration of seven components: motor, MCU, PDU, OBC, DCDC, reducer and BCU.
DriveONE is an integrated electric drive system, which is easy to develop, adjust, arrange and develop. The 7-in-1 1 powertrain of the system can help the vehicle to arrange the power domain in a minimalist way, saving 220mm plates in the Z direction, reducing two mounting brackets, shortening the wiring harness by 5m, reducing three connectors and two water pipes, and achieving the effect of minimalist integration.
The system can also pass the four major inspections of vehicles, piles, clouds and nets to ensure zero accidents in charging, and ensure the safety of charging, electricity consumption and car use through a complete charging system with safety overall visibility, battery visibility, electric drive visibility and charging visibility, and provide traceable electronic certificate.
As the industry's first high-voltage integrated powertrain, the integrated electric drive system DriveONE meets the 2C fast charging experience, and the battery life is 200km after charging 10 minutes. Compared with the previous scheme, the system has higher efficiency, higher accuracy and less energy consumption, the cruising range is increased by 80km, and the power density can reach 2. 1km/kg.
Sandian cloud service solves battery problem
Compared with DriveONE launched at the Beijing Auto Show, Sandian Cloud Service has met with you not long ago. This technology aims to solve the battery safety and life management problems of new energy vehicles by combining Huawei's core technologies in the battery field and ICT field.
Based on vehicle VHR data, Sandian Cloud Service conducts big data analysis in the cloud based on battery temperature, voltage, internal resistance and other data, and predicts and warns battery abnormality and battery spontaneous combustion in advance. At the same time, Sandian cloud service can be combined with cloud OTA to customize intelligent charging strategy to ensure battery safety and prolong battery life.
On the one hand, the biggest obstacle to the large-scale promotion of new energy vehicles is the safety of power batteries, on the other hand, the management of battery life is imperfect. For example, the low residual value evaluation of power batteries leads to the rapid depreciation of used cars and the high cost of recycling and testing of scrapped batteries.
Huawei's three-electricity service will first solve the battery problems in the three-electricity (battery, motor and electronic control), and then Huawei will gradually release safety solutions in the field of motor and electronic control.
Three-battery cloud services mainly focus on five areas: battery fault early warning service, thermal runaway early warning service, battery health assessment service, battery remaining life prediction service and cloud visualization field. New energy vehicles are safer and have longer battery life.
The intelligent cockpit development platform has been arranged.
Finally, Huawei also brought the reserved program at the auto show, HarmonyOS System OS car engine system. Huawei's intelligent cockpit development platform based on HarmonyOS car OS system, with years of accumulated experience in consumer electronics, supports 3-screen display (up to 4K) and 7-camera input, and has rich CAN/FD/LIN/ETH in-vehicle network interfaces.
In terms of specific applications, this intelligent cockpit solution integrates all-round travel scenes such as travel and commuting, and has many interactive functions such as face recognition, signal light prompt, AR head-up display, manual drag and drop control parking, eye tracking, voice understanding, regional pickup, AI assistant, wireless charging, gesture photography, fatigue monitoring and so on. , can realize the seamless connection between mobile phone and car.
This cockpit system can not only integrate Huawei's large-scale electronic products, but more importantly, it will be equipped with the autopilot technology developed by Huawei.
On the eve of the auto show, Huawei released a new generation of MDC intelligent driving computing platforms MDC2 10 and MDC6 10, which can cover L2-L4 passenger cars, commercial vehicles, work vehicles and other application scenarios, among which MDC? 6 10 is equipped with Huawei's own Shengteng 6 10, and the single-chip AI computing power is as high as 160? Jacket; MDC? 2 10 is equipped with Huawei's Shengteng 2 10, with AI computing power of 48? At most.
Among them, the ADS scheme combines three lidar, 13 camera and six millimeter-wave radars, which can cover complex urban areas, urban loops, high-speed and automatic parking. In some areas, it can achieve a speed of 80 km/h without high-precision maps.
Huawei's research and development capabilities are extremely scary.
Seriously, when Bian Xiao wandered around Huawei's booth, he really felt a chill in his back. He not only marveled at Huawei's ability to make not only mobile phones, but also a series of parts for smart cars.
Huawei is positioned as an incremental component provider in the automotive field. Only in May last year did it formally establish a smart car solution BU (business? Unit), only one or two years.
Reflections on lidar, angle radar, binocular camera, integrated electric drive system, MDC computing platform, vehicle-mounted cloud platform and the whole autopilot system layer. In other words, from hardware to software, Huawei has made a series of layouts. /kloc-was established 0/7 months ago. At present, the team size is 4,000 people. Both the expansion of the team size and the speed of product development are very scary.
According to the staff at Huawei Auto Show, the current exhibits (the hardware mentioned above) will be mass-produced by the end of next year.
However, we should also see that at this stage, Huawei has come up with a new generation of MDC. However, compared with computing power and automobile regulations, Huawei's MDC? The problems faced are more from the ecological cultivation of developers. Huawei's strategy for smart cars is also "platform+ecology".
In order to solve this problem, Huawei is also cultivating its own developer ecology.
For teaching and scientific research, business partners and industrial partners in universities, Huawei plans to invest more than 30 million yuan in equipment support fees every year through personnel training, competition support, technical empowerment training, joint expansion and marketing of commercial projects, policy standard research and demonstration area construction. The goal is to gather more than 100 experts and develop more than 100 ecological partners in the next three years.
At present, Huawei MDC is equipped with intelligent driving solutions based on Huawei MDC in passenger cars (L2+), commercial vehicles (smart heavy trucks, port logistics) and work vehicles (unmanned mine cards, unmanned distribution) with more than 50 OEMs, customers and ecological partners, such as Tier 1, application algorithms, sensors and actuators.
I believe that with Huawei's horrible execution ability, since we have decided to take the cake of automotive intelligence, all the work will definitely be completed step by step.
As a China person, I don't want to see Tesla, mobile? Eye and NVIDIA are three pillars, and I don't want to see the car operating system gradually eroded by Qualcomm and Android. Huawei is fighting alone, and the cows it blows are gradually realized.
Baixing pingche
As smart cars move closer to consumer electronics, an old system is gradually broken. Intelligent factors are increasingly becoming the dominant variable of automobiles. For Huawei, entering the automobile industry is not about the immediate profit, but for the longer-term strategic layout.
If Huawei positions itself as an incremental component supplier of intelligent networked vehicles, I believe that this powerful showstopper will definitely show its talents in the industry. As Xu Zhijun said in an interview, despite the huge investment, we think this is an opportunity. If we seize this opportunity, the company's future income will be huge.
