The awarding institutions are: the physics prize and the chemistry prize awarded by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences; Royal Caroline Institute of Surgeon Medicine awarded the Prize in Physiology or Medicine; Literature prizes awarded by the Swedish Academy Literature Prize (all in Stockholm); The Norwegian Nobel Prize jury appointed by the Norwegian Parliament is responsible for awarding the Peace Prize (in Oslo). The Swedish Academy of Sciences also supervises the awarding of economics prizes.
Physics and chemistry prizes will be awarded by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences; The physiology and medicine prize is awarded by Caroline Medical College in Stockholm; The literature prize is awarded by the Swedish Academy Literature Prize in Stockholm; The Peace Prize is awarded by a five-member committee elected by the Norwegian Parliament.
Nobel prizes are awarded to people in all fields;

3. Dedicated to those who have made the most important discoveries in the fields of physiology and medicine;
4. To those who create the best works with idealistic tendencies in literature;
5. To those who have done their best or tried their best to promote the friendship between countries, abolish or reduce the standing army and hold a peace conference.
