Just install the 193M China map or the 216M National Bank map. If you don't have access to the GPRS network, you can only locate but not navigate. In fact, there is no charge for navigation, you just have to pay for GPRS traffic.

Installation method:

Method 1: Copy the downloaded latest map 216M (china_n2.cdt) of the Bank of China to e:\cities

For some old N95 machines, the "map" software cannot use the new map and needs to be updated to the R12 version.

Advantages:

No need to install other software. The star search speed is fast, the map is new, and the map information is detailed. Map updates are free. You can download maps of many countries. I downloaded maps of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, the United States, Europe and other places. It comes in handy sometimes, and I’ve also used it abroad.

Disadvantages:

The arrow will not automatically follow the actual position, you need to press the 0 key. Navigation requires Internet connection, and traffic generation requires payment. The map software version and navigation on some parallel planes also charge a fee---it is not a good version at the moment.

Method 2. Mapking in Hong Kong Bank N95

Installation method:

1. Search online and download the mapking software and dozens of other software in Hong Kong Bank City map.

2. Overwrite or copy all downloaded program files to the corresponding directory on the card.

3. Insert the memory card into the N95 and the software installation will start automatically.

4. The software can be used after installation, but the map can only use a single map, and the software does not have a map switching function

5. The map installation folder is under the root directory of the memory card "Mapking\Maps" folder, you need to place the map folder here and rename it to "MapData.G12" to use this map.

6. The map is compatible with PAPAGO! R12 or MapkingR12 PC/PPC version. The currently available simplified Chinese maps are:

Shanghai, Tianjin, Beijing, Taiyuan, Harbin, Nanchang, Chongqing , Guilin, Haikou, Shenzhen, Hohhot, Chengdu, Lanzhou,

The map cannot be switched and can only be used within one city. When changing cities, you need to change the map. Foreign maps are difficult to find.

Method 3. Install Route66.Mobile7.3.545

Installation method:

1. Download the Route66.Mobile7.3.545 cracked version software package, more than 12M, online A lot.

2. Unzip the software package, and then sign it—if you don’t know how to sign, search the forum to find the answer.

3. Download r66’s 346M national map. 635M cannot be used because it is used for Route66 version 8. Other versions of the map are older than the 346M one.

4. Copy the signed software package to the mobile phone and install it to the E drive memory card.

5. Copy the map *.prm to the System/apps/ROUTE66/maps folder of the memory card for use (use the data cable data transfer mode or use a card reader to display hidden files and folders) .

Advantages:

Completely free, nationwide navigation. Software intelligence. The effect is good. Maps for other countries are also available for download.

Disadvantages:

Requires signature installation.

Flaws in the ointment: The new version of R66 is mobile8, and the map was also updated in the third quarter of Q3 2007, but it was not cracked. Only 346M maps from the end of 2006 can be used.

Method 4. Install Kaili De software

Installation method:

Purchase genuine software. Prices range from 250 to 780. Install from CD.

Advantages:

Completely free after installation, nationwide navigation. The map is newer than R66. Domestic software is in line with the usage habits of Chinese people. There is after-sales support.

Disadvantages:

Requires payment. There are no foreign maps.

Conclusion:

The most cost-effective and high-quality product currently is the R66mobile7+346M national map. If the memory card is large, you can install it in several ways. I only installed one. Also, please note that in the GPS settings on your phone, you must check "Integrated GPS" and turn off everything else. In view of the current certificate problem, the R66mobile7+346M national map has become very troublesome, so it is not as easy to use as method 1.
