Mao Yisheng studied, built and wrote about bridges all his life. His works, Qiantang River Bridge, Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge and Chinese Bridges-Ancient Bridges and Modern Bridges, have made outstanding contributions to the scientific cause of the motherland.
